And why right near our military bases? What is your opinion what China is going to do with all of this Chinese land in America 🇺🇸? Build their own my military bases? Spy on our military? Make more fentanyl and cut out the middle guys (Mexico)? Build their own colleges for their people since they fill up America's colleges and they want to teach their people something different than we are teaching? What I don't understand is WHO is allowing China to buy any of our land in the first place? Who are these people selling our land to the enemy? That is crazy, so it must be coming from the Biden camp.

Unlike in the US, where wealthy people control the government, in China the government controls the wealthy people. They routinely dispossess or even execute billionaires who get out of line. Buying American real estate is one of the few ways wealthy Chinese can shield their assets from the CCP. As for who allows this to happen, it is the American elites who don’t care that it is very bad for most Americans (who they despise and look down upon anyway).

The spying on military bases is already a given, perhaps they also want to disrupt military communications in the event of a war. But I think they also want the leverage of owning land, especially farmland, which gives them a lot more influence over politicians and ordinary people as well as opportunities to make money.

And given the wide-open US borders, they may also be looking for places to settle a large number of their citizens and leverage their demographic heft for the benefit of the CCP.

and the reason is the same for both countries, economic fear and capitol flight. they are worried the economy in their country is falling apart so they are moving money outside it to retain some of it's value

Even though I hit the funny face, when I was a kid, our neighborhood bordered on a US Navy air base, so I could sit on our roof and watch F-4 Phantoms and A-4 Skyhawks landing and taking off. Realignment closed that base, and hundreds of others decades ago.
