This "apparently" was a mistake. But from a political party who covertly tosses red meat to these extremists... I'm not sure this is a mistake.
For An Actual Link that Isn’t Biased
From the CNN article:
”The image originally appeared in a Mother Jones article from 2020 entitled, "The Republican Party is Racist and Soulless."
Oh shit! So a Leftie publication originally created the image!
And now it’s a Leftie getting sand in his vagina over it, and blaming it on Republicans!
Just another day in America. No propaganda or bias here!

Yeah fuck the KKK I will point out that the KKK was invented by the Democrat party. I am considered to be a far right wing extremist but I don’t support the KKK or neo-Nazis or Liz Cheney. I do support constitutional Originalism basically if an amendment was written in 1866 (14th amendment). You have to interpret that amendment as it was written in 1866 at what you wish it meant in 1973 or 2022 or the 4th amendment written in 1789 none of which would have Protected abortion or what they founders or congress meant in 1789 or 1866. Clarence Thomas is my favorite SCOTUS judge he is black if I supported the KKK or neo Nazis why would I support Clarence Thomas because both the KKK and neo-Nazis are in favor of white supremacy

Seems like a mistake.
I get that we all want our biases about our political rivals to be confirmed, but the fact remains that Americans---by in large---are not pro-KKK or pro-White Supremacy. This includes conservatives. It is the same the other way around when talking about socialists/communists on the liberal side.
And even *IF* the GOP is secretly sympathetic to the Klan, they know they will not do very well running with KKK imagery. If they have to apologize for retracting something they supposedly believe in, that tells you that "white supremacy" holds little to no power, even amongst those on the right.
Besides, it did take me a little while to notice the Klan hoods. The image came from a far left group. THEY are the ones who made it. It simply showed up in a google search and got re-posted without anyone noticing.
So a far left group intentionally made the image. The re-post was by accident.
The wackos on the left continue with their accusations of racism. Not once have they proven it, or even given a valid argument for it. Yet the libs continue to believe it just because they are told to.
Both sides are calling out to their extremest elements. So if you are going to call one side out at least have the balls to call out both. After all this country would be a hell of a lot better if people where not so blinded by their party loyalty to be honest. Mabye we can enact laws to stop things like officials on both sides engaging in insider trading using the knowledge they gain in off or retiring from office to take six figure jobs in wall street.
wow! i didn't see it at first but once you do, it's hard to deny it was intentional
It's either a dog whistle, or some non Republican taking the piss, but we all know what the Republican party is about these days. Some of them even think they can hide behind the "Party of Lincoln" line... imagine that
Who knows, but most Republicans I know think the KKK is full of feds.
They probably did not know the history behind that alternative graphic or logo. I didn't know either. I would've thought it was just a creative version of the standard logos we are all used to seeing.
It would be odd seeing as the KKK has been one of the the terrorist wing of the Democratic party for 150 years.
Dems were the KKK party.
The republicans freed the slaves. Is the left EVER going playing identity politics?
It's a funny thing throughout history since after the civil war the more prevalent group of people that belong to the KKK or the Democratic party. And I don't think very many people would agree with you about the KKK and the Republican party.
Wait they’re upset there were democrats in the image?
I doubt theyd do it on purpose... wait.. wasn't the kkk democrat?
Anyways its funny
It is a mistake and they apologized. Time to move on.
black people don't join into the kkk
