Certain militant feminists on this site love to point out that "males commit 98% of mass shootings, 99% of sexual assault, and 80% of violent crimes."

They love to point this out because they think it proves that females are somehow more rational or morally superior to men. Never mind their faulty logic in comparing all women to a subset of the population that commits acts of violence.

Fact is, if our justice system churned out numbers like this against women, they would be called into question. How dare you have a prison system where 80-99% of the convicted are women? It's discrimination!

Don't even get them started about the Witch trials, where - "Oh no! What an outrage." 20 women were convicted. A whole 20 women in Salem -- it just proves that a right-wing, male-dominated society is one that discriminates.

So, how about this, ladies. Since your so hungry for equality, why don't we require by law that 50% of criminals are women? Certainly, no company would hire only 93% men, so why do we tolerate the fact that are jails are 93% of our inmates are men?

Lock them up for equality!

The punishment should fit the crime. Intentional acts are worse than negligent acts. Violent crimes / potentially violent crimes (ones where the assailant threatens violence, especially with a weapon brandished) are worse than non-violent ones. Victimless crimes should not exist.

With those criteria, the same crime with the same circumstances (repeat offenders should get longer sentences because they did not learn from their prior acts), the sentence should not vary based upon the race or gender of the convict.
