like culture is fluid, ever changing and shared. example: if you wear a lederhosen and eat sauerkraut, this does not take away anything from my german culture. i can still live that culture uninhibited if you do that and i can even connect and share my culture with you, even if you're just having a laugh.
gender is relatively rigid, exclusive and personal. gender specific rights can actually be infringed upon by appropriating another gender. example: a male being in female sports has very unfair advantages due to his physical body being much stronger. so it's taking away the competition and eliminates female sports basically, cause if more males take part in female sports, then eventually there's not gonna be any females left in that sports highest performing leagues.
so why then is it, that the leftists allow or even condone and support gender appropriation but frown upon and forbid cultural appropriation?
doesn't make sense to me. wouldn't it be more logically coherent to either allow both or to forbid both?
