It makes me feel bad!
By the way, the pictures don't represent ANY ideal race, it's just random online I found. Thanks.

As we move further into the years, it's going to get worse, as our modern society tends to love what's bad, wrong, rude, sarcastic, disrespectful etc. Plus our media encourages badness, getting even/revenge, tricking/outsmarting others, and everything else with the way entertainment glorifies villainy and wants to portray the bad guys as heroes who have "feelings" but are just "misunderstood." And don't get me started on how Disney is really poisoning our kids from the jump.
People do have consciences, but they choose to ignore them. Which is worse than not having one. People have become increasingly selfish and narcissistic, and don't care who they hurt or how, as long as they've gotten some kind of satisfaction out of it. Which is pretty sick. But I can guarantee you these are the folks karma loves the most, and they won't get away with what they do even if it seems like it at the moment.
Wow. Deep and very sensible! Sad but true!
Bc they get away with it.
Some need to suffer for it for them to change their minds about it.
Yup. I agree. That's a VERY good reason! You're right!

They do in real life but online people get really toxic. But because it's easier to say what you mean without fear of consequences in text a lot of people have moved to online discourse - the toxic mess ultimately holding entertainment value. This also allows for "echo chambers" where people can go to, say, a handful of toxic youtube channels or meme maker pages they like and completely saturate themselves in it to the negligence of all other information.
I don't know what to do about it. The culture pushes people to want everyone who disagrees with them to go away or die. At no point is the question "What do we do if violence, jail, and exile are all absolutely off the table?" ever posed or discussed. Because they don't want anyone thinking of the possibility of compromise, because the process of compromise necessarily includes the search for common ground, and if people start looking for common ground they might discover the youtubers and meme makers were, at best, grossly exaggerating, if not outright lying. And the youtubers and meme makers can't have that, because they love the attention and power. And we can't just physically stop them because the whole problem is to figure out how to compromise even with those who actively try to sabotage acts of compromise, under the assumption that everyone will want to be reasonable if given the chance. So, I don't know what to do about it. Maybe some law that requires political speculation to be labeled as such, so at least people are given the chance to know it isn't to be taken as credible information.
Really nicely chosen pictures! I have often wondered that too. Usually what happens instead of feeling guilty about hurting others, the person gets worse rather than better, until you reluctantly decide to be the mature one and make them feel better about themselves
You think it’s bad watching the news. Go work for a news company. And you ain’t seen nothing yet
