I'm A Democrat Running For Mayor, With A Deep Concern For Crime. What Now?

Anonymous

Let's say I'm a Democrat candidate running for Mayor with a deep concern for the soaring in the city I live in, as well as the lack police to stop the crime. Ever since this stupid bail reform went into affect, repeat offenders have been tearing up these streets, mainly poor people, and those offenders use being poor as an excuse to make good people feel scared of going outside. If you as a poor person put that much effort getting help for yourself, you as a poor person would not find yourself in jail. So being poor is no excuse for committing crime and getting out of jail free. As a democratic candidate running for mayor, I believe the government is by the PEOPLE, for the PEOPLE. The government is NOT by the tyrants for the tyrants, and I think it's an insult to me as a minority to overwork the very few cops in my city just to keep it safe. As a democratic politician running for mayor, one of my objective is to revoke that stupid bail reform and get more cops on the streets like we had in the past, raise the rest on those repeat criminals and keep them off the streets, even if they are poor. I believe in: "You do the crime, you do the time." Being poor is and Democrat is NO EXCUSE for engagement in crime! What's your take on that?
