I just heard of this guy the first time and looked up his background and it totally makes sense. I never needed him to tell me though, I was telling everyone, exactly that word for word, because it is so obvious.

Here is what the former wrestler and governor said:

Because some people are gullible and buy into what left and right wing MSM tells them, which is what the powerful elite who controls both parties want.

Well, see. You cannot really believe an Empire like the USA to be governed, down to the multiple facets of government and management, by people being swapped for other people every 4 years, as well as by the like or dislike of the populace.

It's much more complicated than that. After some decades, it's likely a group of powerbrokers will gain actual rule, and exercise it behind the politicians on the stage. Politicians that, if they aren't too disobedient or irreverent (as Trump was, or JFK was... to make two examples) get their share of personal riches, public honour and popularity, and the likes of those.
