My mom is a reader at a medical college. She always says that many of the women are very diplomatic. So much so that it is quite useless to talk with them. From her past experiences in other colleges too.
Whereas men are less diplomatic comparatively. They just don't take the headache of gossiping and all those things. Although, I have seen some men start to behave like gossiping women by living among them for many years.
I have also seen some girls who are more friendly with guys than they are with girls. These girls are really awesome, I believe. I have seen guys be more friendly, and open, and are more willing to help such girls than other girls. I wonder why such girls are not there in large numbers. It would be very easy to navigate through situations.
