If men didn't exist, women would be living in mud houses or grass huts and they would constantly be losing women to wild animals and to hunger.

Think about this: God/Aliens/Thanos clones Earth, and tomorrow, when you wake up, you're on one copy with everyone of your sex, but everyone of the opposite sex is on the other copy. In 5 years, the copies will merge back together.

When men wake up tomorrow, they're going to be confused, but they're pretty much going to go to work and do what they've always done. Some of the "office types" may have to take on different jobs, but they'll be different but similar "office jobs", and there will be some disruption but it will get sorted out. Roads will still be built, buildings will still be built, cars and airplanes will be built, oil will be pumped and refined and transported, crops will be planted and harvested and taken to market, etc. There might be more fighting for a short while as men are sexually frustrated, but the real problem characters will be killed off pretty quickly, and the world will move on without very much change.

When women wake up tomorrow, they'll literally have a few HOURS, AT BEST, to learn how to operate and manage the power grid, because there are no men there running it. Those control buildings are almost entirely empty of engineers and technicians, all across the country. Are there enough women who know what to do and where to go and will get there and do the right things TOMORROW, before NOON? No. That industry, if you remove office staff, is 99+%male. If the grid is overloaded (which it will be if it isn't actively managed), then, at best, safety systems will shut it down without much damage, but more likely, there will be physical damage - blown transformers and substations - and the power will go out. This is only noon on Day 1, and there's no power. Gas pumps won't operate, computers won't work, the Internet will be down, no cell phones, no refrigeration, etc.

Maybe you have solar and battery banks, and will be better off than 99% of the population. Good job. Most women will be in a dark house as the food in their freezer goes bad. Most won't be able to even cook what they've got without electricity. Some will have propane for a month or two, and others will have natural gas for a week or two, but when that's gone, then what?

With no electricity, gas stations can't pump gas, and trucks can't deliver it, and refineries can't refine it. Who does all those jobs? Men, almost exclusively. How long will women live when the grocery stores are empty on Day 3, with literally NOTHING COMING TO FILL THEM? When they can't get fuel for their cars?

What about the farms? Farms in the US are incredibly efficient because we use giant machines that allows a few farmers to farm a HUGE piece of land - but what happens when there are no men to operate them, and no fuel to supply them, and no mechanics to repair them, and no trucks and planes to bring spare parts? Whatever crops were planted will rot in the fields, and nothing will get planted for the next cycle. It's not that women couldn't EVENTUALLY learn to do this, but they couldn't learn it IN TIME to not starve to death by the millions.

Men are the ones going out on fishing trolley's, working the slaughter houses and we're the ones who as a majority work the fields, now there are female farmers but not enough to make a difference or feed all of you if we were gone.

We live in a men’s world where men thrive at what they do, whether they love/ hate it, or not.

All of this has been from male contribution. They kept women out and can use that as excuse to say we couldn’t do well without them.

I don't want to say this without first saying that it would be no good if woman disappeared also, but men pretty much take care of building things like hospitals, leading research in Healthcare and medicine, they figure out how to make industry benifit humans as much as possible ( admittedly probably because woman make us do it)

We both have our roles and I ld say that largely, woman demand better and men facilitate. Women are usually the visionaries who see a brighter future and men usually are the ones to go through the nitty gritty of actually getting there.

I don't see too many women plumbers, but it's usually the woman who calls the plumber because she can't stand the filth for even one day of the shower getting backed up. Or the fear of something not working as expected.

Women also tend not to worry about things they can't see/understand. A classic and statistically verifiable example is knowing when to take a car into the mechanic shop.

A car owned by a woman is less likely to have engine damage from putting the pedal to the medal for sure (and please remember these are by definition generalizations, this conversation isn't intended to be thought of on a micro or even macro scale)

But damage you see on woman's cars all the time come from not getting oil changes, being careless with the car (hitting/driving over things)

Another thing women enjoy protection from men is the ability to shift blame using any logic desired, regardless of the legitimacy of reasoning.

This happens all the time and is easy to see in how women "don't want to fix the problem" and would rather; when facing a difficult situation, be comforted with active listening and words of affirmation.

Now all that said, I want to do the other side of this because I feel like woman get bashed too much and most of the problems between men and women in society today stem from men acting... Not like men. So maybe the same conversation the other way around might get some men to respect their female counterparts some more. Again these are extreme generalizations and the specufiflcs of what these things mean vary person to person.

Woman are very good at directing a man's energy. If the world were only men, eventually we'd be in some kind of dictatorship. It would be extremely violent and most would probably be acting without thinking critically.

When a man gets an apartment and furnishes it with a 6 pack, a couch and a TV, a woman comes in and sees a place where your mind is not being stimulated. A woman understands better than a man does how important things like a desk or a nightstand or shelves are. Like way more understands.

When a man is deciding between jobs, let's say one is very easy going and makes good money but another job is very stressful and only pays a little more. I know people are going to have mixed experiences about this one in particular but at the core, most common differences between men and woman, ignoring any external factors, the man is most likely to go for the more stressful job and the woman is more likely to push the man in a direction where he has a better balance.

This is an example you can see in many facets of how man's sometimes overly logical way of thinking can be weak to a woman's intuitive way of thinking.

It is through a marriage of these two perspectives I believeal as humans we are the most powerful, fulfilled and connected.

So maybe instead of asking what can the other gender do more of for me, ask what you can do for the other more and look for counterparts who ask the same.

Who mines the coal, drills the oil, builds the machines to process both, and invents better ways to do this all the time? Almost exclusively men.

Who climbs the scaffolding used to erect skyscrapers, draws the plans, builds the house/building/skyscrapers? Mostly men. Who paves the roads, mixes the concrete, cleans and maintains sewers, collects the garbage, and repairs the water lines and plumbing? Mostly men.

Nothing.. Not even protection from animals because without men animals would have their natural habitats. Animals habitats are being destroyed by greedy men aka capitalist who profit off destroying land that belongs to animals. On top of that a massive amount of animals would not be murdered at the hands of men through hunting and slaughtering.
