What do you guys think about this story of a man killing himself because his wife filed false domestic abuse accusations?

51 y/o principle marries a woman 3 and 1/2 years ago. 2 weeks prior to his death, he got into a heated argument between his wife and 2 step daughters. HIs wife became angry at him and she called the police and lied that her husband domestically assaulted her and her daughters. This resulted in said male going to jail that night and subsequent aftermath of her actions led to him losing his job and committing suicide.

Prior to self deleting himself, he wrote a lengthy facebook explaining the situation so people would understand why he did it. He also brought up the dangerous flaw of the current legal system and how a man's reputation could be destroyed just from woman's word alone.

Actually this is more common than we know about. It doesn't usually end in suicide, but some people can't see beyond what has happened to them, and they do end their lives.
Girls accusing their male teachers of sexual assaulting them was gaining popularity. If girls didn't like their male teacher, they would falsely accuse him and reuin their lives. Sometimes later, the girl would confess she was lying and the teacher would get out of jail - but people still wouldn't hire him for employment.
I have to wonder if they use polygraph tests anymore. And what ever happened to using truth serum?
They should use this in these instances and perhaps these falsly accused men will be found not guilty. I also believe his accuser should have to take these tests as well.
I hope his wife and her daughters can live with themselves after causing the death of another human being. What they did to this man was so wrong in so many ways. Sad!

As the comments show, in a dispute between a man and a women almost all women will take the woman's side. Also, about half of the men will also take the woman's side.

He committed suicide because most everyone, the police, the legal system, his employer, and probably most people he talked to believed the accusations so after two weeks of worry and little hope of things getting better and the case resolved in his favor, he took his life.

The extreme bias against men in our country does appear to be shame. However, men are expendable so perhaps it doesn't matter.

There are quite a few fake DV accusations. We've seen videos of women hitting themselves and then calling the police to report the husband or boyfriend.
