It's a virtual impossibility. Oh, the planet WILL get hit again; it happens every day, and it's only a matter of time before a big enough impact comes (our ability to stop such an impact grows with time, but it still quite limited), but it wiping us out just ain't gonna happen. The Toba supereruption caused a global winter that dropped planetary temperatures by 4 degrees; we survived. And that was with Stone-Age technology and population levels.
A similar disaster could destroy our civilization, but not us.
I don't know how likely is it, but I know one thing...
It's not worth spending the rest of your life worring about it, because this wouldn't change anything...
Just ignore it and live your life like this will never happen...
I used to have worries and thoughts similar to this, one day I said one thing to myself, if it is going to happen it will but I must be satisfied with what I have done in my life till then... Since that day I feel much better and I try to spend my time with things that please me
I hope, I helped you 😊
The older our solar system is, the less likely is a hit of such big asteroid.

If god DOES exist (and I'm not saying he does), he should redo the Big Bang and reset everything. Maybe society won't be so shitty next time.
It’s a mathematical certainty that it happens. Whether or not it will happen before we wipe ourselves out is the only question mark.
We could see another one but since humans have only just rolled out of the cradle in terms of the age of the earth, it's far more likely that we'll have destroyed ourselves before any such natural disaster gets a chance.
Could a cataclysmic event of the magnitude that caused the last extinction event that wiped out the entire world of the dinosaurs really happen?
Flooding from pollution will kills us all before then so don't worry lol.
I don't know but we should get Bruce Willis and the boys ready just in case.
Pics two and three would likely destroy all planetary life. The likelihood? Probably not for the next several hundred thousand years.
If it is that far off, humanity, if it survives, will have figured out how to deflect it long before it became a threat.
The Bibles says God will burn the earth so global warming is in his will so He can take all the Christians and leave sinners in the end times
Seems to be not a case of will it but when.
Can an event that killed the whole world of the dinosaurs and changed the world forever really happen to us humans all over the world in our world today?
Maybe the question is will it happen again while humans walk the earth.
