In the summer of 2020 a vandal tore down a statue in Virginia. The status fell on top of one of these fine people. I had a good laugh at that. That Confederate officer had the last laugh.
I remember lots of stuff from when I was a kid and through my 20s. My friends did sooo much stupid shit. If someone wiped out, we would laugh our asses off as long as they weren''t badly hurt.
I'll name one incident from grammar school. A friend and I were riding our 10 speeds to school. He jumped off the curb at a small cross street. When he tried to pop a wheelie to jump onto the curb on the other side of the street, his front tire didn't leave the ground. Instead, it hit the curb and stopped short. In a split second, my friend did a flip and landed on his back still holding onto the handle bars, still seated and feet still on the peddles, wheels spinning as if he was riding upside down.
I almost died laughing.
I just remembered another one. In my late teens, I was riding in a friend's car and another friend named Jerry was on a stingray bike holding onto the passenger door handle. We were on a residential street going maybe 25 or 30 mph.
All of a sudden, Jerry's bike stopped and I watched him leap over the handle bars exactly like someone doing 100 meter hurdles. As he continued to run and catch himself, his body leaned more and more forward until he was flying horizontally.
He landed like a body surfer in the gutter next to the curb that had water in it and slid for several feet
We were horrified at first and ran to help him. All he was wearing were shorts, so he had road burn all over his body, but he got up and shook it off. For months, though, we called him scab man and laughed about the incident.
As it turned out, the front wheel on the bike had fallen off. I don't know how. But that's what caused the crash. I'm just glad he wasn't badly injured.

I did see a vehicle accident once that at first was like oh no but then later, I laughed at the idiot that caused it and he got the ticket for it.
Traffic was slowing in a exit only lane on the freeway, a F250 was towing a big trailer and this little Honda car, pulled right into the trucks space and the driver of the truck couldn't stop and drove up onto the Honda, tires stopped at the head rest. No one was hurt (lucky for them) but I and other witnesses stated to officers, this driver was NOT tailgating it was the driver of the Honda who got the ticket.
The Honda driver was mad asf, because he was under the impression if he was ever rear-ended it was always the drivers fault from behind all he had to do was squeeze in.
I laughed at him for that, so you can be stupid and think the other person is at fault for your dumb ass choices.
Here if you cut someone off, YOU ARE AT FAULT if an accident happens.
This guy had to learn the hard way, losing his car and nearly his life... and having to pay for repairs to the truck and the trailer, well his insurance having to.
I ended up going to court as a witness and the guy not only maxed out his insurance and what they would pay out but the truck driver went after him for back and neck pain from the collision and won. Then he lost his house.
Serves him right I say and I laughed at him again in court.
I was sitting on a bench outside school and stretched out my legs just perfectly timed with a toddler careening down the sidewalk. It had an awesome but not that serious trip and had to take a few seconds to decide if it wanted to cry. I laughed, I couldn't help it.
Funny we have all these monuments to kidnappers, rapist, human traffickers,
And 1 memorial to the survivors and victims of these monsters we chose to worship. And it has been so neglected it is falling apart.
We sure know how to pick our heroes to worship. American values at it's finest.
When World Trade Center 7 fellā¦ you knowā¦ the building that Larry Silverstein said Pull it on the radio, then it ācollapsedā 9 seconds after his radio callā¦ people actually believe NIST on their evaluations of the collapse, even when every single 640 original Engineers that helped build the building said It was not possible the way NIST said it collapsed.
The most laughable think though is about the pentagons trajectory argument by the federal government. One single camera shot from a building with 600+ cameras at the time including 22 cameras on the side that was hit, and are VISIBLE on thousands of photos of the aftermathā¦ and they claim it was a planeā¦ a plane can hit a light pole at 530 mph and not blow up? The plane was flying 17 feet off the ground at 530 mph by a training Cessna pilotā¦. Rightā¦. Sureā¦I may have chuckled hearing about the thief that got stuck in the chimney. I'll have to check my recollection...
