Has the democrat party become pro black in the same way the Republican Party is pro white? Is it accurate to say they are the same now?

I just noticed the kids tv show about anti whiteness. It looks like the democrat party is becoming like the Republican Party in terms of supremacy but for another group.
The Republican Party is pro white but discriminates against POC.
The democrat party is now pro black and discriminates against white and other minorities.
An example is affirmative action discriminating against Asian students to accept more black students. Now the anti white kids cartoon. Even more. The party has become pro black and anti white in the way the Conservative Party is but vice versa.

Horseshoe theory is now in effect. We now have both political parties that support group x but discriminate against group y. They are now the same. Ironic how the political party that claimed to be anti racist has become racist themselves. Supremacy in any color is still racism.

Republicans fought a war to end the slavery that the Democrat Confederacy supported. Lincoln was a Republican. Eisenhower, who integrated schools in America, was a Republican.

All I hear from Democrats is how Black people need “Black Only Spaces.”

The Republican party supports impartial policies that happen to result in white people (or any law abiding, hard working people) succeeding more than black people (the same system that has Asian people succeeding more than white people). The Democrat party specifically supports policies that benefit blacks. They are not the same.

@lightbulb27 To be frank, black people are the least conscientious people (i. e. hard working); so, while the policies reward hard work, they will disproportionately reward groups that tend to work harder than others (Whites, Asians, etc. over blacks), in the same way that the capitalist system will reward entrepreneurship; so, certain groups that engage in entrepreneurship at higher rates (e. g. Indian Americans) will be rewarded over those who don't- which is why Indian Americans are the richest ethnic group in the US.

I was looking for clarity... true about capitalism. I see African American kids here, starting painting businesses. It's parents! To me the system looks to include all who want and will do the work, with support to face adversity... everyone has some. I don't see republican policies favoring particular groups, generally. Caveat to that, $ buys access... people with wealth have more opportunity for mentors, coaching, better schools, etc.. that's democrats arguments for $ allocation.
There are hard working in each "culture" was my point. But in terms of averages, when comparing people in USA, your observation seems right. Realize though... we draw the "top" of India generally... not the poor, but the educated. The Chinese have come here poor without skills, but have strong work ethic built into families.. the ones that aren't trashed anyways. In general, I'm not seeing a culture around African americans (and other groups like appalatian) that guides and pushes them to success... I don't put that on republicans, and I do put some of that on democrats for their policies. It's generally... families, and opportunity. Thus I support republican positions to open up education, so that people can seek better education for their kids, one example.
I don't see democrats as pro black, I see them anti black... by way of how they think. It's like saying I'm in favor of training athletes, but giving them all a trophy. That isn't how people grow to succeed.

@lightbulb27 Democrats, and Progressivism, strongly believes in social engineering. In their minds the State can do away with distinctions by actively manipulating the economy. For example, with Affirmative Action they reason that if they just evened the playing field (by preferential college enrollment, hiring, etc.), they could then step back and different racial groups would perform equally- this is not the case. African people will never (as a group) do as well as the descendants of great civilizations and conquerors (this includes the civilizations of the Ganges and Indus river valley, i. e. India); other people are simply more disciplined, well-organized, and intelligent. This fact necessitates the government to not only GET involved, but to STAY involved. They must continually construct egalitarianism (as Liberalism believes all people have inherently the same characteristics, e. g. desire for liberty, and same potential), blaming any difference on ambiguously defined, and unmeasurable forces like "systemic discrimination/ implicit bias," which will in turn justify their continued involvement- and greater power/ funding to pursue these ends.

Maybe I have more hope than you do, but I think it comes down to some of what you said: discipline, opportunity, nutrition, support... culture in essence. But it takes long time to train people and cultures to be their best. When they are their best, black americans have often outperformed everyone else. But too many fall victim to the cesspool they grow up in.
I look forward to the day the progressives announce affirmative action for airline pilots and shortened training programs... for the presidents helicopter and air force one. My guess is, they won't do that...
Trouble is they don't know their error, it feels good, and gives them power over a base.
So you are probably right in the end.
I see the problem turn up in "specialized" schools in my area... left doesn't want them because all the people going there are chinese or indian. That wasn't the case back when Katherine Johnson blasted through schools because she was so smart. Today, she'd be held back, bored to death in oppressive, Democratically controlled and limiting classes.

The republican party isn't specifically pro-white. Their voter base just happens to be white because the democrats kept stealing the minority vote on the false promise that they will conquer poverty even though it has been nearly 60 years since the war on poverty has been declared. I wonder what is taking them so long.

Myself being a socialist the whole idea is we are only as strong as our weakest defense. In defending black communities it builds up multiple sources that need help.
