If unmarried women are happier than married women, then why do they want to get married?

These are claims made by some women. These same women also claim, that married men are supposedly "happier" than unmarried men. And some women also claim, that married men supposedly "make more money and live longer" than unmarried men 🙄

My married male contact told me, that singles are the richest ones.

Now explain me the women's logic here.

". . . then why do they want to get married?" IF the statement IS true, an unmarried woman would not know whether she is going to be happy as a married woman until she is actually married.

Married men and married women do earn more money, report higher levels of happiness, and live about 2 years longer than single counterparts. The studies are everywhere if you take a few minutes to look at it.

The numbers pretty consistently show that married people, men or women, are a little happier than unmarried people. Not all that surprising.

The numbers are still quite low. Lingering around 50% stating they are happy/very happy when married and down to 30/40% happy/very happy when unmarried.

I reckon near everyone wants a sense of belonging. Spending your life with someone you adore would provide that.

Contrary to what liberal talking heads want you to believe, married woman with children, are happier than single women. Over 5 decades of surveys have consistently shown that.

It's true that being unmarried leads to a far less stress and happier life but the problem is most people can't handle being alone and sexless so they get married to have that safe structure of a family and sex.
