Studies show that childless unmarried women are happier and live longer than women who are married with children

On the contrary

For men studies show that married men are happier, healthier & live longer than unmarried men, and unmarried men are unhealthier, unhappier and die sooner...

Yet the narrative is the woman pressuring the man for marriage and the man trying to avoid it for as long as he can... marriage is marketed towards women but it benefits the man the most according to the studies.
Men scorn marriage while women dream of it, but the studies show a different picture.

What do you think about these findings?

I think it's a question of how equal the partnership is. Many women will give all of themselves to their families, reducing the stress of daily living that men need to experience. In years passed, the women would give that in exchange for the financial wellbeing that the man could provide. Unfortunately the benefits that each sex brings to a marriage have been forgotten as we drift further from the strong family unit.

The study I found doesn't specify unmarried and childless women, actually, my bad. Middle aged white men are still the highest, but the overall woman's rate has been increasing. Turns out that life sucks no matter what gender you are. From 1999 to 2017, the annual rate of drug ODs went up 260% for women aged 30-64. Paul Dolan (where the unmarried women are happiest thing comes from) had this to say when he presented his findings (I'm paraphrasing): Men settle down in marriage, and take fewer risks, just like women generally take fewer risks in life than men. Single middle aged women however, are more susceptible to mental disorders.

Mental disorders which are being treated with perscription drugs, like synthetic opioids, Benzos, Fentanyl, etc... Which also tend to lead towards drug over doses, even when taken as prescribed by the doctor.

If unmarried women are more susceptible to mental health issues, there might be a link between having a steady relationship and a women's emotional stability. Certainly her physical wellness, as being employed does have risks as you get older.
