The shooting was targeting Christians but the left and their cheerleaders (mass media) want sympathy for the Trans community. They also want you to feel fear about retaliation against the Trans community. Again, Christians were targeted by a Trans shooter and actually killed. I need more information, but it’s very disingenuous to suggest that transgender people haven’t been in the Christian’s’ crosshairs all the while. It certainly wouldn’t excuse a mass shooting, but the pressure hardcore Christians try to apply to those who don’t espouse their same beliefs is very tangible and obvious, so I hate to say it, but as long as Christians keep up the hatred, they’ll be victims of occasional “strike-backs.”

Really just an overall sad situation that we can’t live and let live in this country, and expect some sort of adherence to some uniform way of life.

But life isn’t black-and-white, things happen for reasons, and the shooter apparently left some kind of note that I’m sure gives some clues, if not an outright explanation, for why this was done. Obviously, nothing will satisfy me to a point of “ok, I get it, you were right to shoot up a school”, but I’d be curious to know about the rationale. If I were a betting man, I’d bet the shooter was lashing out at the school for making them feel some sort of complex about the way they are, or just being broadly unsupportive of LGBTQ people. Like, to be fair, hardcore Christians aren’t exactly just minding their own business and allowing people to live their lives without interference or negative commentary. It may not be an “excuse”, but there’s almost always a “reason.” Just a wild guess, but if Christians weren’t condemning people’s behaviors, maybe no one would have so much issue with them. Be Christian all you want, love whatever way you feel is right, but that can never, ever be imposed on the rest of society.

I didn’t have drag queens read to me, but I was exposed to them at a young age because my family would vacation on Cape Cod and we’d go to a town that was a HUGE gay/lesbian vacation destination and art colony. These folks were letting it all hang out, because back then, they had to be closeted a lot more, and this was the place where they could be free. Drag queens out on the street promoting their shows and interacting with the tourists. Always, always, ALWAYS cool as fuck. I was too young to go into the bars in those days, but these were just good, fun people who like to perform in costume. And there was nothing sexual about any of it, they’d be dressed up like fuckin’ Bette Midler or Queen Elizabeth, it wasn’t meant to be “sexy.” If been around LGBTQ people all my life, absolutely zero problems. Other protected demos, it must of been something else that drove them to it.
