If you 'did it all' at such a young age do you think the rest of your life would be boring?

I love this musical and this song especially but this one line always stuck out to me in this song:

A shame you did it all at twenty-six
There are no mysteries now
Nothing can thrill you, noone fulfill you

I always wondered about it. lets say you traveled the world, you became famous, got rich, lots of possessions, maybe found love? and you did it all at such a young age too. Do you think this means it'll be difficult to find anything else thrilling or exciting? since you 'did it all'?

what are your thoughts?

Yes i think it would be very difficult to find anything exciting after 'doing it all' at such a young age

No i still think someone who has done it all at a young age can still easily find excitment in life

You can still do it all and still learn and see new things.

I can watch ALL of the movie and still learn different things about it every time. (When I watch it).

The really good thing about this also,

is that I have such a WIDE selection of movies that the ones I see again after a few years can STILL make me laugh, and still evoke such pleasant and strong emotions.

I mean, I can ask sexually active people- they do it all sexually- does it get boring? Does it ever NOT feel good when the selections are great?

I can see all of the sunrise and the sunset and I can STILL see variety.

Thats the important thing to remember here-

• One can still have it all and STILL have variety.
• One can still have it all, and STILL have pleasant emotions/sensations
• One can still have it all, and STILL have new messages/lessons/themes/ perspectives

Getting bored is a lack of gratitude, and it’s a mindset that numbs the other physical, emotional, and mental nerves to feel amazing and profound things.

It’s somewhat sad when people (and my self in past times) have or have had experienced this “conclusion.”

They only limit themselves.

At 20, since age 8 always trying to find the perfect way, believed I could not be surprised in life. Well it’s not about the surprises- it’s about the enjoyment, and even aside from this- I was yet again… surprised and it did waken my senses again.

Everything amidst learning, is always:

memory and muscle memory.

That’s how we get better. That’s how we keep going. That’s how we improve.

Will we remember “It all,” in a good and positive light?

or remember is as a bad thing?

It’s up to us and our mind, and how much we apply ourselves to the wide selection of amazing things, this world offers- and which we only ever get here.

I dont need to do all these over the top things to enjoy life. Simple things keep me happy and I have never been bored. Of people who drain my energy, yes.

Some people have done more in five years that others have in their lifetime.

I knew a woman in college that went to all sorts of trips from scuba diving to sky diving and other adventures and had a lot of different places that stamped her passport.

I never thought I would have had so much fun going to see concerts and other live performances as much as I've done. As such, I've had more life in my years as an adult than as a child, despite being apprehensive of the future.

Both your first two selections are possible. There are those who do it all and then they crash back to reality and boredom and real life and live that way until they die. Then there are others who, because of the excitement and glamor and do it all, are able to continue that. And then some who are satisfied with whatever (Jackie Kennedy is a great example).

I did a lot of crazy stuff when I was younger. Thank God we didn't have cell phones back then. I still find things to do that are fun. I'm just more careful at what I choose to do

Righttt This is so critical!

Because we see in young children who don’t challenge themselves mentally to grow- they see that “I have done it all”

And they get bored and agitated, not knowing what to do and asking their parents or relatives to entertain them.

The relatives will always suggest things to them, and sometimes let those kids be creative themselves to imagine new ways to create and enjoy things.

Some relatives will even spend time with those young ones and make memories.

So that’s what we ought to do on a larger scale- continue growing, being creative, and creating memories.
