Why can't republicans just stop fighting giving minorities equal rights when everyone knows you lose culture wars just like the Iraq war?

When ever a movement pops up, conservatives seem to always have to oppose it. In 2009 they opposed marriage equality to gay people. They claimed giving gay people the right to marry was against the institution of marriage but notice how they used the same language as racists and slave holders. Instead of institution of slavery, they put institution of marriage, funny and not a coincidence. In the metoo movement they opposed giving women a voice to calling out their rapists and assaulters. Now they oppose transgender rights because if men can become women then women can become men and there goes the whole fantasy of the natural order of things. Oh and if you claim to be a minority, like a woman or black person, I won't believe you because you using the same language as racists and sexists and then acting stereotypical of how a black person would act or how a woman would act is proof you conservatives are desperate not to go to extinct.

Because conservatives are all about protecting the status quo even if change would be better, its literally in their name. So for a lot of them is older= better! Also I dont think a lot of them are actually understanding what they are against its just new so they oppose it.

with the part you highlighted, I have had exposed conservatives creating accounts as women and black people but they act stereotypical of black people and women yet they repeat the same lies and propaganda the GOP spreads.

Oh ok now I understand a lot of times this may be the case but not always. If possible try to get them to say something that outs them for what they actually are and report them.
