Hmm, well, it seems like it's still a man's world. I'm not saying woman could do any better but maybe, lol. All the political corruption and destruction in the world is living proof that some men can't run a country.
Not sticking up for Hilary Clinton, but she got downgraded pretty fast when she ran, and whenever someone points that out, they're called a feminist, lol.
No, when you got people slamming a woman because she's running for office, you got a bunch of sexists. American politics is a joke anymore! I used to work for a company who worked on political campaigns and one time we did these surveys, and some of the racist and ignorant things people said, jeez!
Any person running for office that was black or a female, some of these voters said some really nasty things. I guess racists are everywhere but hating someone because of what they look like or who they are, that's just disgraceful. These people should have been ashamed of themselves.
But yeah, from working at that company, I know for a fact woman don't get as much respect in politics then men do.
It varies by state, but at this point the key right men have that women don’t is absolute control over their reproduction. They may buy birth control for men without restrictions. Women’s choice of birth control is restricted in some places, and a number of states are making it difficult for women to have abortions. This obviously doesn’t apply to men for anatomical reasons, but it remains an issue that women have to confront and men do not.
Also in almost all places it is considered indecent for a woman to show her breasts, and women are even hassled for breastfeeding in public, which is absurd. Babies need to eat and a breastfeeding woman is not exactly doing a public striptease.
Bodily autonomy is the most obvious one. I don’t think it applies to my country - because abortions are legal up to 12 weeks here. A mother can get an abortion up to 24 weeks provided at least 2 certified medical professionals agree to it (extreme cases when the mother’s life is in danger, or when the child might be born with deformities/disabilities etc).
However, in some countries (including mine) marital rape is not recognized as a crime.. and that is extremely disgusting. Anyone can be raped though, so I don’t think this applies to just men or women.
@wonderbell99 The question was can you name a right men have that women dont.
Bodily autonomy and if certain lawmakers have their way, freedom of movement once we get pregnant
Men can't get abortions.
most women fled the country with their children. men don't have a choice even if they have no fighting experience. it's not really bodily autonomy if you are required to put your life on the line
in a military draft, men are forced to sign up to potentially be killed. women aren't forced to sign up
regardless of who the laws were made by, they still exist in society made up of both men and women. if men and women are equal then women are also equally to blame for these laws too because they refused the draft even though law-makers made it a requirement for all voters
Circumcision was not my choice nor 95% of those circumcised. So its not entirely true (just saying) that only women face bodily autonomy. That being said I'm pro choice and don't like the way the laws have changed.
@DextroShade ''Newthink'' will find a way to at least theoretically give ''us'' this right.

I have the right to write my name in the snow!
Here in the US? Public toplessness, though that's only in certain areas. In other parts of the world, however, it's a VERY different story.
Public toplessness is a huge one lol
@DexWest No- not directly, at least. But laws are.
The pay issue? 👋🏻😬 I think there's still a gender pay gap, I could be wrong and varies country to country on this globe 🌍🌎
You would have to give specifics. Most of that has been debunked.
The "supposed" gender pay gap? Unless it's just an American thing or a media driven thing. For all I know, there is an Area 51 after all, lol, so what would I know my good stranger, if there's a pay gap with genders or no pay gap. Aren't all paid equal? Lol 😃🌎
Men don't have people trying to control their bodies and health choices.
Circumcision
@Blueeyes81 Circumcision is a choice - usually made by the parents when the baby is born (which doesn’t make this any less barbaric). However, the parents have a choice to not circumcise the baby. However, certain health complications can also lead to circumcision when the baby is older.
You cannot compare a circumcision and an abortion. The former does not have a life long impact on someone, but the latter sure does. A woman who is not mentally, emotionally or financially ready to have a kid shouldn’t have one.
@WonderBell99 and you can't say men have body autonomy when THEY didn't get the choice. I support womens right to choose but find it an absurd argument to say I have body autonomy when a piece of me was removed without my say. That is what body autonomy is, the say to do with your body as you choose. If you want to go down the ones worse than the other, what about a woman who supports pro choice who then chooses to circumcise her baby boy that she chose to have. Just saying.
@Nikki1989 That's not true at all.
I reckon I’m no man therefore, as people are always criticising my vegan stance and fruitarian lifestyle and urophagia habit.
there is none if it's being written into the laws
even laws that are suppose to be impartial are led by biased judges who favor women such that in criminal court, civil court, family court etc.
there's really nothing stopping a woman from achieving anything today except for some basic laws of physics, completely controlling others fully and if she believes in the mythical "patriarchy"
In western world=no
In eastern world=yes
About the only one I can think of is the right to be topless in public. Until the 19030's it was illegal for everyone, then guys fought for the right. When the laws were drafted it was originally going to be gender neutral, but the prevailing female social and political groups declined the right stating "modesty" this included many suffragettes who felt the "right" was just not an issue hat applied to women.
Walking around with your shirt off 😂
True 😂😂😂
The right to register for U. S. Selective Service. Oh, wait...
LOL.
In the US? No. In shit holes like the middle east? Yes.
As far as rights written into law, no. However, it is clear they enjoy certain advantages in society….. more political power, higher wages, promoted more often, etc.
@zagor You’re giving one extremely cherry picked example. How many members of Congress are women? It should be 50/50 to be truly representative. How many women have been president? How many women are governors compared to men? How many women are even allowed on the ballot to even get a chance? It’s extremely lopsided.
@anonymous People vote for political parties, Men make higher wages because they work on high wage more useful fields and statistically women are much more likely to be prompted over men.
People vote but the parties decide the candidates they’re going to fund and back….. and it’s far more often men rather than women. Your comments on wages are complete nonsense. Women are often paid less for doing the exact same job and they are promoted less often. It’s 100% sexism.
None of what you are saying is remotely true. Once a party chooses a candidate they spen equal amount of funds. It is against the law to pay a women less for doing the same job. If it wasn't then why wouldn't employers just any higher women since it would be cheaper. Not only are women often promoted more but in most male dominated fields they change the standards just for women.
Why should it be 50/50 to be truly representative? You are assuming everyone has equal interest in going into politics. The idea that congress needs to be identical demographically to the population at large is absurd, as it the idea that someone of a particular gender/race/religion is the only one able to represent those of that type. Some countries try to do a version of that (Lebanon) and it doesn't work very well.
Once REPUBLICANS secured the right to vote for women, every female citizen possesses the exact same Constitutional rights as any man does. Abortion was never a Constitutional right, incase Wokesters want to dispute that.
I don't believe in ''rights'' - but in common sense.
However, in my simple mind I think that men have a ''right'' to identify as a man - and women don't have this ''right''
(by common sense, that is). 🤔
Men are allowed to be in male only military facilities. But in general men and woman have similar if not almost completely legal similarity with each other.
Have a career and children at the same time. More difficult for girls.
Nope. a lot of women complain about imaginary rights they think men have. by the way abortion ban made it fair since before that men had no say if they wanted to be a dad or not but if she kept it he's obligated to be in a child's life
I got nothing.
Urinating standing up isn't really all that great aside from when going camping maybe.
Outside of top freedom and reproductive rights, I really can't think of anything unless you want to count locker rooms and public restrooms.
None, because according to my stepfather, I lost all my rights because I was being myself.
SOUTH Asian MEN DEMAND DOWRY. THEY CONSIDER IT THEIR RIGHT.
Women have the same rights. Just not always equal expectations (and that works both way by the way).
Bodily autonomy.
But seriously have to stop using that pic. She wasn’t even screaming.
No rights but plenty of obligations that women don't have.
Umm... the right to "transition" into a "woman"...🤔
Nope, but I can certainly name rights women have that men don't.
Bodily autonomy.
You personally are also over the age of drafting therefore if literally doesn't effect you at all.
why does something have to currently be in effect now as it pertains to body autonomy having ever existed or not?
even then war could happen at any time right now depending on whether Biden wants to take action against Russia vs Ukraine or China vs Taiwan and the draft can not be objected to.
@Smashingdoozy something doesn't have to affect me personally for it to exist
otherwise using your logic, when you hit menopause, it can be said that women do have body autonomy because by then abortions won't affect you personally at that moment in time
pointing out facts that men and women share the same rights as it pertains to body autonomy is not anti-woman
if you really want to go there, I can bring up that men have no reproduction rights where they can not opt out fatherhood and must either marry the woman or pay child support. plus there's no mandatory DNA tests and there's a chance he could be paying child support for a kid that's not his
not when the birth certificate has been signed or his name has been placed on it. it doesn't stop the authorities from throwing men in jail who refuse to pay child support for a kid that's not his
there's no law written to prevent women from receiving life saving medical care either. most abortions are done out of inconvenience and for "fun"
@inhua uh yes even when the birth certificate has been signed, that literally doesn't mean anything. If thats happening the men are stupid for not seeking legal help.
yes there is. You're just talking out of your ass at this point. Abortions are life saving medical care. Women have been refused life saving abortions because of the heartbeat bill. Ectopic pregnancies have been refused treatment because there is a heartbeat.
NOBODY is having an abortion for fun. You act like it's just oop I take these pills and bye bye fetus yay time to go party. NO. You cramp and bleed for hrs sometimes days, much heavier than the average period, nausea, fever, chills.
Not to mention the possible complications.
Nobody is being bedridden for "fun"
yes you tell that to the feminists who march the streets, dancing and parading about with their bellies exposed and glorifying how much they love holding their baby hostage
hospitals are being investigated by the feds for denying life saving abortion. just because the law is not being followed is not an indication the law doesn't exist
Nope.
