This is just another example of Wokeys losing their fucking minds.

The woke idiots of Ireland are seriously considering killing 200K cows, this isn't a joke.
This is just another example of Wokeys losing their fucking minds.
It is, and always has been entirely about control. Nobody making these decisions actually cares about the climate, but merely pretends to so they can exploit the useful idiots to push other forms of overreach.
The woke will kill us all if we let them. We need to stop this madness in any way we can!

I'd think it's larger ESG type companies needing to meet target, culling, and knowing the target will change year to year.
They have more at stake meeting those scores than regular business nets so it makes sense. You're talking about a billion or two at stake when they do or don't meet that score. Think of the whole get woke, go broke, but how many companies made bank with profits and investments before now?
corpgov.law.harvard.edu/.../
Every action has a reason, I don't believe the left is motivated by hate or ignorance, but sincere beliefs driven by profits. Same with the right, both believe they're building a better world for themselves and their own. Just figure out where the money is coming from.
Fucked up shit. But let's end my trolling session for today.
Oh my sweet lord, are you kidding me? You want to massacre 200,000 dairy cows? That's like taking away 200,000 sets of heavenly gazongas from this world! How could you even suggest such a thing? Do you not realize the beauty of these flesh balloons?
Sure, they may emit some methane, but have you ever stopped to think about all the joy they bring to this world? The pleasure they bring to those who fondle them, the comfort they bring to those who rest their heads on them, the temptation they bring to those who admire them from afar.
I mean, think about it - if we get rid of all those dairy cows, we'll be depriving ourselves of the melons, the hooters, the boulders, the knockers, the jugs, the bosoms, the tatas, the fun bags - the list goes on and on. And for what? To reduce some dang methane emissions?
No, my friend, we cannot let this happen. We must protect the dairy cows and their beautiful udders at all costs. We must cherish and adore them, for they are the ultimate symbol of pleasure and perfection. So let us raise a toast to the dairy cows and their delightful milk jugs - long may they reign!
Dude just spank it already🤣
They are destroying our food production and whatnot on purpose in the guise of "protecting the climate".
This is so we can become dependent on their 15 minute cities designed by the world economic forum.
If people really cared about climate change, the entire first world would take over the third world and brutally force them to abide by climate standards and the whole first world would also have to abide by those brutal climate standards.
This is just virtue signaling so you don't realize what they are doing.
Less than 1/3 of one percent of greenhouse gasses are emitted by humans.
I'd love to know the source on that so I can use it in future debates.
@Sixgunsound I will try to dig it up.
CO2 is great for plants and the oceans. Also, humans have made great strides in reducing or eliminating the most toxic pollutants (at least in the west). Let's add that scientist can't predict weather five days in advance but yet they claim to know what will happen 50 YEARS from now.
I have heard this same climate alarmist bullshit since I was about 5 years old ( 48 years ago), and the climate crazies have always been wrong.
What a bunch of fruitloops.
I also kind of suspect, that in real terms, these stupid gestures actually aren't making any difference, except from a virtue signalling perspective.
It's odd how no one gave a shit about climate change and wastage when we plastered the country in plastic flags and other tat during the Coronation.
As we should, it iis British culture first and foremost. i notice you try and single that out for condemning, obvious traitor, what the plastic flags during pride and the all the litter and product pollution during Halloween and Christmas.
You don't understand, Charles was getting his ego stroked then, so at thst point it was fine. Now, he's looking at revenues and the part his family plays in The Great Reset.
this planet gets stupider and stupider with every passing day, they have yet to limit planes etc and anything else but yes yes lets kill cows, smh
I'm still confused how there is gun control on the leftist agenda but not cheeseburger or car control
@Sixgunsound because there agenda has nothing to do with saving lives.
Unbelievable. Enjoy making up that deficit in dairy. Not sure how much Ireland exports dairy products but... that loss, plus increased imports adds up to fucking up that economy.
Imagine the impact on food prices to poor people.
Now we know better.
The more fucked an economy is and the more people are starving the more readily people will accept any government solution no matter how horrible it is for their interests. Lenin and Hitler approve.
The whole fucking island is covered in grass and something has to eat it. Irish cows make the best butter and cheese because they eat all that Irish grass. After they kill the cows they are going to have to buy a bunch of fucking lawn mowers and create even more pollution. My Irish ancestors are rolling over in their fucking graves.
You will own nothing and maybe be happy.
I think these fools are full of shit.
Once they kill the food animals they will start eating pets and zoo animals like Venezuela.
@Sixgunsound Or each other.
Ever heard of an essay called "A modest proposal"? That was written by an Irishman.
@Sixgunsound I have not but I will check it out.
That's the one
Think of what happens to the price of meat and dairy once supply craters. These greedy corporate asshats can afford it but the common person can't. They are creating real life hunger games. Have the Irish learned nothing from all the other times foreigners have syarved them?
The hypocrisy makes me laugh. Environment conservation is a left sided policy. You know what else is? Animal rights.
If you’re really that worried, export your cows to various locations so that emitted gases aren’t so concentrated, plus you make money.
If there was a disease or something, it’d make sense. Was it Cuba that had to kill thousands of pigs to save others?
You do realize this is the same left that expects Muslims to march in Pride parades, right🤣
Most of the man made climate change is caused by fossil fuels. If we really want to stop climate change we have to ditch fossil fuels like coal and oil and switch to solar power and wind power. Actual math shows that even if every human on Earth switched to vegan it would only reduce the carbon footprint by %10. Also, "carbon footprint" was invented by oil companies to try and shift blame on to consumers.
Slaughtering 200,000 Cows Will Do Nothing to Fight “Climate Change”.
It would serve The Irish government right if farmers sell off all of their stock and claim Set-aside payments Re; EU Regulation (EEC) 1272/88).
Will end up with Ireland having a Milk and Butter shortage, and the loss of the beef calves that go on to produce very acceptable steak etc.
Do you call it a massacre when cows are killed to provide you with a burger, or calves to provide you with milk?
Dude. At least its massacre with a purpose when a cow goes into my burger.
Its a senseless killing to just leave a rotting corpse around.
@WhiteBoyChill Why do you think they'd just "leave a rotting corpse around"?
So you support this?
I don't like government idiots creating mandates based on non existent science. Unlike you leftists.
@Siri137 "Livestock are responsible for 14.5 percent of global greenhouse gases."
"Cattle are the No. 1 agricultural source of greenhouse gases worldwide. Each year, a single cow will belch about 220 pounds of methane. Methane from cattle is shorter lived than carbon dioxide but 28 times more potent in warming the atmosphere"
www.ucdavis.edu/.../making-cattle-more-sustainable
"The use of cows, pigs and other animals for food, as well as livestock feed, is responsible for 57% of all food production emissions, the research found, with 29% coming from the cultivation of plant-based foods. The rest comes from other uses of land, such as for cotton or rubber. Beef alone accounts for a quarter of emissions produced by raising and growing food."
www.theguardian.com/.../meat-greenhouses-gases-food-production-study
So you want to kill them ALL off because of your deranged eco-ideology! So they release gases. You people are f**king insane! You'd destroy EVERYTHING in order to appease Gaia, and to hell with the consequences of your reckless vandalism and butchery!
We've had cows, chickens, pigs and so on since the very earliest signs of civilisation, and yet people like you want to turn back the clock to the Stone Age. Well, you'll have a fight on your hands, because those of us who haven't succumbed to the mindless fanaticism of environmentalism will do all we can to stop you.
@Siri137 Less of it. That's all. There are some really good alternatives out there, either looking like meat or not bothering. (By the way, there are over seven million cattle in Ireland, so they're not talking about killing them all off either.)
Calling this proposal a "massacre" is ridiculous, McDonalds alone needs to slaughter millions a year worldwide.
Liar.
"... really good alternatives..." - Goaded
Yes, I know all about these "alternatives" to meat. I don't want synthetic crap in my diet, and I don't want to become a rabid vegan either. I like MEAT, real meat, not rubbish that's been synthesised in a lab.
The world isn't coming to an end, so why the hell can't various governments just leave us the hell alone and stop sticking its nose where it doesn't belong? Stop trying to tell us how to live our lives.
Yes but cows are used for other food sources like dairy products.
Those cows need to be alive to provide that source.
What's likely to happen is older farmers looking to retire will take the cash and then sell up to the young who will quickly restock. Expect to see lots of old knackered cows magically appearing on farms just to bump up the herd numbers.
Poppy, this is insanity.
I don't agree with the policy but farmers will be looking to play the system. I do wonder if it's a plot to switch Ireland back to beef farming as it was 10 years ago
Wokeys don't think like that.
Some farmers make more money off compensation schemes than they actually do farming.
Sure, those programs are to ensure domestic food supply.
Don't underestimate the profit driven motivation. That takes precedence over the woke stuff, believe it or not.
Dairy is worth nearly 7 billion euros to Ireland. The American market alone brings in 800 million. www.agriland.ie/.../
I can't see any politician signing off on that
Plenty of US farmers make more money off the system than farming too. They're just farming something else, our tax dollars.
Stupid is as stupid does. I'm still waiting for my electricity bills to reduce given all the woke claims renewables are cheaper.
Dictatorships have a bad habit of starving their subjects Also take note of Ireland’s planned censorship law.
Those who point out that this is about control are of course completely correct.
Cows aren’t the only thing that produces methane! Save the cows!
It’s entirely stupid and, they have more people than cows there farting so maybe it’s them causing the problem and should adjust their diet instead instead of doing stupid things like that
The globalists are taking Europe where they took Sri Lanka, where many of these green ag policies were introduced. This will be horrible for ordinary people. I’m sure the elites (Clear them out!) will still have their steak.
Are you kidding me? Save the cows and take out the politicians, they spew all kinds of garbage into the air via their mouth (worse than cow emissions).
Why don't we sacrifice all the politicians instead? Don't they produce even more methane and other gases than cows, seeing as they're constantly full of shit?
Sscrificing agriculture and food resources for an ideal that will never be achieved is foolish.
There is still india, china, us and others that are polluting like hell and this sacrifice will mean nothing.
Europe overall is already "green" compared to rest of the pack and further limiting their emissions drastically through replacing vehicles, planning to ban short domestic flights, banning coal mining.
Killing cows and destroying agriculture is madness.
Is this one of those greenpeace terrorism types?
Farmers and regular people would suffer the most if it will happen.
I just double checked about that.
Greenpeace in Germany tries to do the opposite of that. Although it's German.
https://act.greenpeace.de/rinder-an-die-luft
Still I call terrorism on these plans (not the German greenpeace trying to get the cows out of "gulag" type barns).
It's just a way to ruin food production and replace it by something else. By a strange "coincidence" there is a lot of promotion for insects based food these days.
They want to do the same in France guess it's an European laws and I'm against it, they should forbidden private plane instead of killing cows
Have you noticed how it's always the little people having to give up something they can't afford to part with rather than the rich having to give up another luxury? I suppose Macron expects starving commoners to eat cake if they have no bread too. That worked out great for the last person who said that in France.
@Sixgunsound Yes, it's always the same, it's completely ridiculous. He does risk getting his ass beat if he continue doing shit in France is really not a good things..
I used to fly private aircraft and I realize their utility. "Banning" cows is beyond absurd.
@Sixgunsound True, that is the "golden rule", those with the gold make the rules.
But those with the numbers win long term. Louis XIV and Nicholas II were unavailable for comment.
Nothing good comes from listening to wokes. There should be deeper studies about the sources of pollution in that country, run by non-politically biased people, but objective scientists.
The problem with that is your last few words. There aren't many objective scientists because that isn't how science is funded. Governments expect to get something for their investments of other people's money into science, as do universities.
It took Cromwell to ruin the Irish before. Now they're trying to do it to themselves.
Has Ireland learned nothing from all its other mass starvation programs over the centuries?
@Sixgunsound That's why I and 31 million Irish descendants Including UGH, Biden are here.
where are we going to get milk? from monkeys?
And other dairy products
As long as the food does not go to waste then yes. I don't know why so many people are saying no cows only exist to provide humans with a food and drink source. They are going to get killed anyway so we can enjoy beef.
Sorry i forgot to mention the other dairy products we get from them, in fact it might not be such a good idea if we lose a food source.
Unless you can get the 3-4 countries who are the biggest polluters of the environment on board what the rest of us do or don't do won't make a bit of difference.
Better to ask if Brazil should. 200,000 cows per ranch out there, AND Argentina. We usually equate 'food' (waste) mountains to Soviet Russia, but it's clearly a problem for ourselves in the West.
Pay attention to all the food factories catching fire and livestock around the world disappearing. If they cared so much about the climate they'd downsize their own lives first and lead by example. Someone wants to control the food sources
This sounds like a fake story. Normally I'd do my "due diligence" and fact checking but since it's from the Telegraph I'm just going to assume it's a completely made up story.
If it is in the Telegraph then it is bound to be bullshit
They had better kill themselves not the cows.
That so bad for this world. People's are starving and they do that shit
As opposed to just eating them as planned?
Are you really this retarded?
They also for other food sources which they need to be alive to provide.
I'm okay with this as long as hungy humans get to eat them.
LoL bullshit Ireland what damage to the environment really US china Russia India all those countries do something might have some chance not bloody Ireland.
no!! there are clearly better solutions to climate change.
Man made climate change is bull shit. Government is just trying to fuck farmers out of thier land to build cheap housing.
Let the cows live until they die of natural cause and just reduce the amount of cows in the long run.
So the government should mandate a certain number of cows?
Not in the way of saying our country can only have x amount of cows by the year 2050 or so,... this would just end up in a conflict, which farmer got to keep more or less cows.
But they should say every cow needs at least Xm² of fresh grass, that way the cows have a better life, see some sunlight don't need to drown in their own shit, deseases don't spread that easy...
But all this shit, getting rid of this or that in the next year is just a meaningless panic reaction, that doesn't help anyone.
We need to do something about emissions and pollution, but we haven't done anything in the last 50 years, so we may take some more time to think of real solutions, not that kind of bullshit.
Killing cows = more milk for not just us but for biological women that aren't transgender
Im pretty sure they need to be alive to produce milk but there you go.
Wheres the crazy vegans when you need them.
This is mad
Seems like a better solution would be available. Emigrate them to Scotland.
These Europeans are becoming more and more stupid by the day, what happen to those peoples.
No it’s ok.. global warming is density. Whole world will be under water and we will live up in the sky.
Anon...😂😂😂😂😂
Anon... than riddle me why liberal elites all have coastal mansions?
I really hope the Irish farmers rise up in the same way the Dutch farmers did.
What would be the same balence of people
We could mince them the same way
That same shit is coming to the U S as well
What a stupid idea.
Looks like the price of steak is about to go down
They are welcomed to ship them my way.
bottle it and sell it instead...
Heck no
Hell no!
