Because the Democrats WANT more crime. The goal of all authoritarian movements whether fascist or Marxist is to DESTABILIZE a society so that they are defenseless and confused. That is the explanation for all the seemingly insane policies the Democrats are promoting such as an invasion of foreigners who illegally break into the country including spies, terrorists, felons, drug dealers and violent gangs... promoting crime and rewarding criminals while punishing victims, gender insanity pushed to our children to create a helpless and confused generation of Americans and destroy the traditional American family the basic building block of a healthy family, taking away the means for ordinary citizens to defend themselves with guns, destruction of our energy system with a climate change hoax, and on and on and on.

All of these things seem completely insane. And they are. Except that they are not accidental. They are INTENTIONAL. And the goal is, the agenda is, to DESTABILIZE the society and make America and Americans helpless to defend themselves so the Democrats can impose a one party authoritarian government without resistance. It isn't like we have not seen this same agenda before in other countries that have been destroyed the same way.

They have already achieved getting half the people in America right where they want them. BEGGING for them to take away their freedom. America is at a tipping point. VOTE FOR TRUMP NO MATTER WHAT. He is their biggest (and only) nightmare. We MUST shove the message down their throats that WE WILL NOT TOLERATE THEIR AGENDA. And the ONLY way to do that is to support President Trump.

Pro-criminal & Anti-2A politics... a nice mix of the two.

I think people (in the west, in particular) idolize the criminal. I point at music, starting around 1993. The average person driving by with their music blaring has some guy bragging about how gangster he is... women hoes/look at my money/I'm a criminal. So that's what I think is what's up with the pro-criminal side of things. Sympathy started going out to the criminal along with making excuses for them.

I'll be blunt about the politics... it's Democrats. It started a long time ago with them wanting to ban guns for black people so that black people couldn't get guns.. it didn't work. Now it has progressed to guns in general. The innate racism in this is still obvious with how the leftest media handles gun crime violence. The suspect/shooter was black, they make it disappear. The suspect/shooter was white... you'll hear about it every day for a while. How most of the shootings are black on black or black on white, simply doesn't get talked about unless it's some excuses e. g. "It's because of institutional racism." ... Now we have a lot of people believing most mass shooters are white... evil racist white males in particular.

You take a 90's and on kid that is highly influenced by both of these things and let them get old enough to vote. Voila! Pander to these things to get the votes.

Because guns are way more fucking dangerous than they are useful. Same with police. Same with prisons. At least the way they are in the USA. Maybe if police and prisons were just super fucking heavily reformed, they can stay. But rn they doing way more harm than good. Literally a whole state of police is currently under investigation for sexual misconduct shit. & remember when all the police just fucking stood outside forever while a school shooter fucking shot more children to death? Bffr law enforcement in this country is a bad joke.

I'd say now just avoid the ATF. Buy your guns used with cash or through a dealer who makes less than 10k a year on each business. How would the whole Kyle Rittenhouse thing played out if he could drop his rifle and walk away?

Anyway, I'd say with technology now you can make an M14 with a lathe, and an M16 with a printer. Pistols are kind of a no brainer in each category (.45 or 9mm). I think it's really more about splitting the country more.

Pro gun is going to get more guns and ammo. Anti gun is going to try and use guns and ammo to tell them they can't have it.

It's all crazy! They think getting rid of guns and police are going to solve problems. They have NO idea how the real world operates! Let them come here, to the town where I live for a week! There are drugs, drug dealers, drug addicts who will mug anyone to get money just to buy a tiny bit of heroin, prostitutes who have unprotected sex like crazy for the drugs.

I guarantee those people will be begging leave! Society has gotten sad. Extremely and disappointingly sad! I do believe there should be laws that make it harder for morons who form these militias to buy guns, same as these protesters who are trying to "Make America Great Again" and want to exercise their rights by storming into a government building and shooting their way into congress. It's inexcusable and they should be ashamed to call themselves Americans!

I do believe they are letting the wrong people buy and operate firearms, however, someone who is responsible should not have their rights to buy and carry a gun taken away. I don't think many people realize this, but after the last 2 elections, America is pretty much done now. And to anyone who doesn't believe me, stick around. We're going to need guns and police like there's no tomorrow very soon! I fear for America.

I never understood that logic and have yet to hear a cohesive argument supporting that line of though.

I used to not give a second thought to owning a gun other than for historical and collection sake. That changed fast as my faith in our police and government dissolved and fizzled like an alka seltzer tablet. Too many close calls from shady individuals while I was doing nothing but minding my business.

Now, I took the training and sought the education I need to effectively handle a weapon on my own. I won't be caught unaware and unprepared. I won't be a victim or a statistic. I will be a survivor.

There's this idealized outlook that criminals are just misguided and that love and care are more effective than punishment. That weapons just increase the violence and potential for harm, that is weapons in a paramilitary style police force as well as criminals. That community policing does not need tanks, rocket launchers and military style training. Nor should we have a force that can get away with extrajudicial killings, that law enforcement can and should be held accountable for their actions.

That is how the conclusions are made. I am not saying that it is correct, but that is how it happens.

"Defund the police" has multiple definitions by the people who use it. Most people simply want to reform the police and shift funding to better methods of preventing crime. There are some idiots who really do want to just completely get rid of police but they are a minority of loud social media users.

As for the 2nd amendment, it has been bastardized by the NRA to mean any idiot is allowed to own a gun with no restrictions. And you know who agrees with me? Ronald Regan and conservative Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia. Both believed in the right to own a gun, but at the same time they advocated that the second amendment should not be unlimited.

Even protesters with “Defund the Police” signs don’t want to defund the police. What most mean is defunding military equipment purchases and promote de-escalation.

And no one wants to ban prisons. We want to stop for-profit prisons that lobby extreme prison sentences to make more money.

And for godsakes no one is talking “banning guns”. At least not seriously. At most we’d be happy with some safety regulations.
