Is North America like Great Britain?

Canada is Scotland; Colder. Socialist and liberal. Hates their Southern neighbors for no reason. Also both opposed Brexit. Many Canadians are Scottish by blood, as more Scots migrated there than the USA.

USA is England; Warmer. Capitalist and conservative. Doesn't give their Northern neighbors any thought. Most Americans are English by blood (some even fully English) ever since the Pilgrims showed up in 1620. Not many English settled in Canada, apart from some deserters following the Revolutionary War.

Mexico is Spain; Hot and a vacation/holiday destination for both the above. Mexico has been Spanish by blood and linguistics since the 16th century.

Make sense?
