The science is pretty clear that life might begin at fertilization but even then it might not happen so to say life begins at conception is malicious and deceptive statement to prove a moral high ground.

Well for one it's never been proven or disproven.
The concept of "life" is more spiritual than it is scientific.
Pro lifers are often religious people who belive humans have souls and today there are no studies that actually quantify a soul.
Debating if abortion is ok with a religious person is futile because no religion today condones murder no matter what shape it comes in
the thing is when it does happen then it’s life at conception before fertilization there is no human life so yes life begins as fertilization a simple search on Embryology would show.
