In the 1970s symphony orchestras started holding their auditions behind a screen, in order to ensure that even unconscious prejudice doesn't affect decisions regarding which musicians to accept. That did increase the number of blacks and women. However, not enough to satisfy the woke crowd.

Years ago the Cambridge public school system decided no longer to offer algebra in middle school because the presence of algebra was widening the achievement gap between higher achieving students and "low-income students of color."

And as anyone could have predicted, the result is that wealthier students simply pay for classes outside of school in order to get the math they need to be prepared for high school.

Yes, the woke crowd is the most racist. They are racist toward "whites" (no matter their ethnic origin) and they are condescending toward blacks, as if blacks aren't capable of excelling without the wise assistance of "woke" whites.

These idiots don't realize that it is a socio-economic, not a race, issue. Many blacks are hard working, educated, talented, middle and upper middle class. But the woke crowd (ironically, well off, white, privileged, latte liberals) thinks all whites but them should be held to the level of those from economically depressed inner cities.

Blacks are 13% of the population. The top 10-20% is what is normally very successful in any race. Liberals want that to be 90% of blacks somehow by pushing them through top universities and into top jobs that they CANNOT handle. Especially medical and engineering which doesn’t care if they consider math racist.

Racisim isn't slogans or vulgar slangs thrown at each other to further some political rhetoric.

Racisim IS treating someone less than a human being simply because theyre different. Its often subtle, like a manager walks into a meeting and makes a deliberate point to shake everyones hand but yours. Its the smug smile when you walk into a store and ask for help and the clerk pretends not to hear you, or laughs asking if you can speak English. Even though English is your only language.
