Why are light skin, Indian people often super racist towards dark skin people (especially blacks)?

I've notice this pattern with Indian people. The ones who are brown or dark skin are cool with blacks but the really light skin ones often look down and are super racist towards blacks. Now, they aren't openly racist and use the N word to your face, but there is a smug attitude of "I'm better and more intelligent than you because I'm light skin" that you can pick up on interacting with them.

Why is it white people can be more civil/less racist towards blacks but light, skin Indian people still hold racism in their heart despite being more coloured than a white person?

India has a whole caste system. Its actually very common through most of Asia where light-white skin is seen as more valuable. You might try to blame white colonialism for this but it's been the case in Asian civilisation for thousands of years due to having darker skin meant you worked the fields as a peasant/servant/slave and because the upper light skinned groups didn't mix with dark skinned groups they became separate ethnicities. In India even today marrying outside your caste might result in both husband and wife being brutally murdered

A lot of these light-skinned Indians that you see, often use lightening and bleaching creams to appear lighter. (Indians have naturally darker skin that ranges from light tan to very dark brown).

That's because they suffer from internalized racism and self-hatred, because of international and national beauty standards. Light skin in India is seen as a sign of status.

As a black woman I've never really had major problems with Indian people infact they seem a lot less racist than Latinos.

It is interesting that Aryan call them Aryan before going to India. Aryan mean beautiful and noble people.

I'm a light skinned Indian and I like blacks more than white people. Shut up and stop generalising us.
