Would liberal Americans be willing to give them back their land? Return to their roots in Europe, Mexico, Africa etc

Our ancestors stole their land, the story isn't much different from Palestine yet so many Americans are protesting against Israel for doing something they did to native Americans? Am I wrong?

You’re right, Israel and America are similar in that they’re colonized nations. The european population colonized this land after it was so easily done because plague was sweeping through North America. Plymouth Rock settlers were able to settle in an already-made native American camp when they arrived, a ghost town where they put all the infected corpses into a mass grave and then essentially took all their stuff for themselves. The reason that doesn’t happen now is a bit complicated. Part of it was just forcibly annexing the remaining land of surviving tribes over the last century. Trail of tears and all that. Native americans currently make up less than 1% of the total population in the US. They’ve been whittled down to nothing, they have no hope of reclaiming their land and now currently live on reservations with super inflated grocery prices and are lucky to have running, clean water where they can find it. They’re fucked. But we didn’t tell them escape routes and then bomb them, the intention was never genocide as far as I’m aware, just land claims.

Israel didn't take anything from Palestinians, "Palestine" was a fiction made up by the British in the 13th century as a way to irritate the Jews and try to drive them out of their land.

Also Spain took the land from Indians, not Americans. Then Mexico took the land from Spain, and Americans took the land from Mexico.

The two conflicts are not analogous.

Jews are indigenous to Israel and have lived there for thousands of years. European settlers in the Americas were not. Large numbers of Israeli Jews are descended from Jews the Arabs discriminated against and kicked out.

The Palestinians are Jordanians or came from other areas outside Israel.

The European conquest of the Americas came about because if imported diseases like smallpox, but also because pre-Columbian rulers like the Aztecs were very brutal and their enemies were happy to cooperate with Europeans against them.

Anyone who claims that there was perfect harmony among Muslims and Jews prior to the arrival of Holocaust survivors upon the founding of the State of Israel is attempting to rewrite history. Not only were there pogroms by Muslims against Jews in Arab countries, there are were in what became the State of Israel. And Jews who had to leave Arab countries had their land and other property there confiscated without any compensation.

i don't know. i think this is an impossible question to really answer because there are so many conditions

would we be giving back the land their ancestors originally lived on

would we be displacing those who moved there

would LIBERALS be willing to give them the land back? some probably would, some would probably look for an alternative solution, some would not consider it. but that's the nature of it. i think we could put conservatives in same boat. some for, some looking for an alternative and some against it

Israel didn't steal anyone's land. It was promised to them by God. The Palestinians are basically squatters. Now, say if you were given a house by your grandfather. But you can't take possession of it currently. Then squatters move in. Are you going to just give them the house or are you going to take it back?

It’s not just the issue of land though in the West Bank they are still keeping people under military occupation. I live near a reservation and they can all come and go as the please.
