note: more than 180 candidates have registered to run for democrat president nomination in 2024. that is lots of democrat who want to replace biden despite being the "incumbent".

A Gallup poll released in October, 2023, found Biden’s approval sinking 11 percent among Democrats in the span of a month. The following month, in November, Biden’s support among independents fell to a record low of 27 percent, down from 35 percent in October.

I honestly think it's because of a lack of communicating his administrations accomplishments. Republicans harp on the inflation happening during his term but in reality, compared to the rest of the world, inflation has been mild here. We live in a global economy, like it or not, and if there's inflation worldwide, we're going to experience it too. In reality we've handled it better than Europe, and way better than Latin America. This not only has kept prices from becoming far more unaffordable for everyday citizens, but has strengthened our position in the world market. This relatively low inflation compared to the rest of the world also is happening at the same time as a strong labor market, with stock market growth, and without a collapse of the housing market.

Besides the economy, the Biden administration has also appointed a large number of diverse federal judges, taking a page from the Republican party's playbook, and starting to restore balance in the judiciary. They have worked to fix the student loan system despite congresses refusal to act. They've worked to improve access to healthcare and lower prices for prescription drugs, again despite roadblocks from the Republican house. They've negotiated keeping the government funded despite obstructionist Republicans in the house, even when it cost the Speaker of the House his job.

Biden's approval rating problem is he doesn't brag about his accomplishments and the press and the press is too busy worrying about his son to report on what really matters to Americans.

The economic circumstances of most Americans is rapidly degrading and all the Biden Admin does is say “GDP up!” Well, most of the GDP goes to the elites. F*** GDP. This government has allowed 10 million migrants into the US during the past two years which puts downward pressure on wages, upward pressure on rent, and increases crime. These migrants don’t settle in rich neighborhoods or nice suburbs and the admin is bidding up housing for them in small towns that voted against Biden. It is punishment, plain and simple. He also sabotaged a peace agreement reached between Ukraine and Russia that was fair to Ukraine and proceeded to pour billions into Ukraine without any accountability for how it was spent. We see Olena Zelenska dropping a million $ for jewelry on shopping trips while hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian men get killed. It’s a bad look. The much hyped counteroffensive proved to be an abject failure due to horrible underestimation of Russian forces by NATO military planners. Our leaders claimed Ukraine would be at the Sea of Azov by the end of the summer. They’re not even near Tokmak and Russia is retaking this summer’s gains bit by bit. Education sucks, the fentanyl crisis sucks, working for multiple jobs without benefits sucks. Who in their right mind would support this guy except for those who managed to retain corporate jobs with benefits and live in neighborhoods not being filled with refugees?

A combination of Biden being passive and indecissive, he often appears to have no plan and his speeches are also like if someone has waken him up 5 mins before, and told him he would have to improvise a speach. And of course Anti-Biden Populists, being really vocal and blaming everything on Biden and the politics under him as President. Regardless wether or not the policies were actually put in place under him.
