I can imagine there are going to be more riots. I was reading a news article the other day that he's not eligible to run now because of the 14th Amendment, and the insurrection he committed. A lot of these supporters are saying he had nothing to do with the riot, and even if he wasn't charged, because he announced on camera, in front of millions of people "This is a sad day in America," and then he suggested taking a walk to Capital hill.," That's enough to implicate an involvement because it was said. If he would have kept his mouth shut, they wouldn't have rioted. All ideas keep from somewhere.

I fear for this country. Some of his supporters are apparently undereducated and lack the knowledge of U. S government. Then there are the ones that keep saying that the democratic party is the reason why he was indicted. They couldn't be more wrong. The democratic party is just a political cabinet. Indictments get filed through a court system, not the democratic party. (Whitehouse. gov also has articles on how government works). Trump needs to stop telling me that Joe Biden and his goons are responsible for his indictments because it's making him sound like an idiot. Government doesn't work this way. I'm not a fan of Biden either, but his accomplishments are impressive. ( Loc. gov is a reliable site where accomplishments of past and current presidents can be found). Every fact I just mentioned can be fact-checked online.

Trump started claiming that this was “persecution of a political opponent. Joe Biden had nothing to do with prosecuting him. Trump was indicted in New York on criminal charges. This has nothing to do with the election or any political cabinet for that matter.

I believe some of the MAGA people are a danger to themselves and other people. protesting is an American right, and they deserve to have the freedom to protest all they want, BUT when it comes down to breaking into government buildings and harming others, those rights should be taken away. When I first saw that riot on television, I was disgusted. Those people disgust me. They should be ashamed of themselves for breaking those windows and terrorizing the people inside that building. I don't call them Americans. They're cowards. There are plenty of ways to get a point across without putting fear in others. I pray this country never goes through that again.

Looking back at history we can never say never. People throughout history who never would have believed that their country would be assaulted by an attempted authoritarian takeover were rudely proven wrong and were unprepared for the assault.

What the Democrats are doing to Trump, the misuse of the judicial system to persecute the leading political opponent is beyond anything that has ever happened in this country before and a classic prelude to an attempted authoritarian power grab. That cannot be denied.

It is the stuff nightmares are made of. I pray for America and a non-violent resolution.

I live in a wealthy community with very little crime. When BLM and Antifa were rioting coast to coast for months on end, some associated group was marching the streets of a nearby street blocking traffic and acting like thugs like the rest of those movements. One night, I heard noises outside in the middle of the night and saw a band of thugs dressed in black with facemasks on coming up the street yelling and tearing down American flags people had near the street outside their gated properties including mine and spray-painting on the gates.

In all the years I lived and grew up here I have never seen anything like it. It was unthinkable. I think it was a real wake up call for a lot of people in the area that I live which was heavily Democrat at that time and has now become predominantly Republican since then.

If the left engages in the same kind of violent massacres it did back then, I am afraid that this time it won't end as well for them. People are not going to take this kind of abuse from the left again. And rightfully so. They will defend themselves this time.

For the sake of everyone I hope that they understand what is at stake this time but don't see any sign that they have learned anything from their ignorant and dangerous behavior of the past.
