There are other forms of mental illness that are not a rule-out, and other levels of intellectual functioning that are also not rule-outs. I think you know this but for some reason picked the worst ones you could think of.

70 is a borderline IQ, not MR, and is fine for people in very simple jobs like facility maintenance (cleaning) and some cooking tasks. Paranoid schizophrenia typically leaves intact intellectual functioning and is well controlled with Clozapine and Haldol.

Think of a different way to demonize Democrats please.

People in different parts of my family of my family, all the children had mental problems but one turned out to be a gene, wean it comes to mental problems I am not qualified to say who is who,
In My Family, as far back as I have records, the mental problems can skip a family, or a person in a family & even change from one kind of problem to another kind & back again. I am the oldest of three boys my depression did not show up till after I stopped working at 52 when I lost my job three times after that I was sent to the hospital for very severe depression and I wanted to kill myself. My next younger brother died at 58 of Sugar Diabetes so severe that it rouned his heart because he did not believe in Dr or medicine & he could see things in pictures that no one else could see, My youngest brother at his age is fine but His youngest son kept getting conches from sports but as result of his severe depression he killed himself, he was one of 11 children but almost every one of his brothers & Sisters had mental problems too, one of my cousins did a lot of research & put it all on CD & took it to a doctors office & gave it to him he picked it up thou it down on his desk & walked out of his office & he did not want to be bothered with it. & today I am 69 & I take 13 pills every day & I feel a lot better in my life than I have in many years & my memory is very bad I don't know what day it is mot of the time. What is a SEVERE psychiatric illness according to you or the article? For me, it is a personality disorder like Borderline that is completely untreatable (DBT is a scam). Was that mentioned?

I would hire someone with a lower IQ (like 70) to do menial tasks. They don't get bored. they are usually happy with the work, they are not dissatisfied with the pay, and they tend to try hard. Why would I hire someone else?

As a professional neuropsychologist, I can tell you that we don't use that test for anything that has any criticality associated with it at all. We don't use it because we don't believe in it and the numbers back us up. The results from that test are largely worthless.
