Why do we have questions such as "Why do men this or that?" Or "Why do women this or that?"

How about "Why do certain people this or that?"

Are these people too naive to end up believing men and women are that different? Or are they actually different to the point where such thoughts and questions are deemed valid?

That's a good point mate. Generalizing all men or women can be unfair. We're all individuals at the end of the day.

I think sometimes people just notice patterns or behaviors more with the opposite sex cause that's who we interact with romantically. But you're right, not every guy or girl is the same.

There are definitely some biological and social differences on average between men and women. But everyone's different and there's lots of overlap too. Like some girls are really into cars and sports, and some guys love fashion and art.

The questions about "why do men/women do this" are probably just trying to make sense of relationships and dating. But you're right, it would be better and fairer to say "why do some people" instead of labeling the whole gender.

At the end of the day we're all just people trying to understand each other and find love. Generalizing can cause problems. It's best to treat everyone as an individual.
