Whenever I'm on X/Twitter and there are hentai-related posts or stories about noticeable age gaps between couples (A man dating a woman around 5-10 years younger, despite both being adults), there are a lot of people that lose their shit about it and make it such big deals about it and many of them seem Gen Z-aged. I think a lot of it is just the age they are. You’re still in a school-based mindset. Anyone more than four years older or younger doesn’t go to school with you, and it’s the only way they can look at it.

Also, your perception of older age is FUCKED, lmfao, I was the same way. I remember being 21 and working with a 30 year old, and we’re all like “I can’t believe Bill’s THIRTY!!! Holy fuck! Why isn’t he married with kids! And he’s surprisingly cool!” Lmao, now I see 30 as just barely not a baby, like we just took your adult training wheels off a little while ago. I MAYBE trust you to make sound life decisions for yourself. I can’t believe people have babies before that age, lmao, kids raising kids. Just lmfao imagining me as a parent at ANY TIME in my 20s😂

But anyway…. Gen Z just hasn’t reached the maturity level yet where they’d understand. They’ll get there, be patient. It’s so crazy being of an age that takes flak now, haha, but I guess I deserve it because I was an asshole the same way when I was their age.
