I don’t hate my country, but why is the United States sliding backwards as a country? Why have things been consistently getting worse, and not better?

For anyone that doesn’t know me here, I’m not the woke SJW type of person that complains about everything in the US being “institutionally racist” or whatever other BS they come up with.

That being said, here are what I consider the ways we’re lagging behind.

1) Healthcare.

Costs are unreasonably sky-high and sharply increasing. No signs of ever slowing down.

Also just a lot of assh*les in the healthcare industry in general, that just don’t care about people.

Nevermind the fact that it’s a for profit industry and so they’ll do transgender surgeries on minors and give kids weight loss pills instead of telling them to exercise or see a therapist.

Speaking on a personal level, I was lied to by my Doctor and told a medication was harmless, that ended up completely f^cking me up.

2) Education.

Quality of education in public schools is just jack-shit.

Quality of University education is decent, many foreign students from around the world, but costs are still sky high as well and sharply increasing, with no signs of slowing down.

The bottom line?

No Universal Healthcare or Higher Education (like most other advanced and even many Mid-tier countries).

3) Randomized Mass shootings

How embarrasing is it that we have all these mass shootings year after year all because some lunatic just decided they wanted to gun random people down?

And yet our response every time?

Almost no concrete action or discussing solutions and just shrugging our shoulders and going “yeah whatever, that happened”

4) The Culture

BLM protests? Trump deranged leftists? Feminists demanding equal pay? Women acting entitled in general? Protests where ugly fat women scream about abortions even though no guy would ever want to f^ck them?

I mean, can we cut the sh*t already?

5) Woke PC culture

I mean, what more need be said?

Why should I have to worry about getting cancelled all because I said some totally normal thing that most other people wouldn’t even find offensive?

Why tf are we this insane?

Certainly Healthcare is a massive issue , its either wayyyyyyy over serviced or doesn't exist at all , and thats just really really silly , too much influence from big pharma , Doctors junkettes and the like , its broken , a more socialistic view required on this topic , and it should be No 1 , also prevention for fcks sake ! The average American thinks everything is fixed with a pill or surgery , you can't just consume sht and think " Ohh man , thats my freedom to choose " its proven people choose poorly , education and prevention and talk about BMI , in the elite incredible , in the average = shameful.

Point 3 - Gun control and mass shootings , everybody knows the answer , but it MUST be addressed , the gun lobby just has a ludicrous amount of control , far far too much , it has to STOP , but it will not , there is not the desire.

I dont know enough about your Education system to comment.

MORE important , lets not forget , although nothing is perfect , although things have gone a little back , USA has outperformed Europe in opportunity 100 fold still ! So there is lots a great stuff too , some really great stuff , if you have the money its still one of the greatest places on earth to be born , as Warren Buffet always alludes to , just some of these issues need to be addressed.

Let me see... The USA devalues education (half of Yankees operate at a sixth-grade level, or at the level of an 11-or-12-year-old. This means they wish their politicians to be dull-normal ala good ol' boy George W. Bush (who shares my July 6 birthday.) Since the REPIGLIKKKLANS have no real ideas save shoveling gobs of money to their rich buds, they must inflame racial and other tensions to keep the 99.999999% at loggerheads while the Healthcare, Pharma and Tech bros rake in more and more dishonest caish. This is why America's health care costs have septupled inflation since 1960, resulting in fatter, sicker folk and a dropping life expectancy.( Auto workers make LESS in real terms than in 1914, when my father was one year old.) Add the two-fifths of a BILLION guns, largely thanks to the disgusting National Rifle Association, which owns the REPIGLIKSWINE lock, stock and AK47, and you have an ignorant, fugly, dumb, hate-filled populace ready to bow down to Maximum Leader Trump, whose re-election this year will be the death knell for any semblance of democracy and by 2026, America's 250th anniversary, the first openly Fascists laws will be passed.

There's always both a secular & a spiritual answer to such questions. Most people only focus on the secular.

From a secular POV, the elite people who run the country get power out of being seen as the wise know it alls. See the movie Idioacracy if you haven't. There's some of that going on... except the idiots don't directly take over. More like they are used by the elites to move the country in the direction they want it to go. Today a lot of people think that if you're an expert in one small area, you're a genius and qualified to make changes to all areas of society (!). It'd be like taking the world's best car mechanic and letting him do heart surgery on your kid. Anyhow, the elites gain power from being seen as the wisest people. They also gain money.

From a spiritual POV it's because there is a war between good & evil. The evil side wants to literally murder you. And short of that they want everything to go against God's intent/desires as expressed to humans in the Bible. 100% you will find one side constantly wanting to change things to go in the direction opposite of what God directed humans to do.

Anyhow.. smart people are getting ready for a very rough ride. Western Civilization is unlikely to be around much longer.

Leftism/Socialism/Communism has taken over the Democrat party and their objective since the 1960's and even back to FDR has been a Leftist takeover if the USA. By and large, they have succeeded and it may take some kind of armed uprising to recover the USA. If Trump wins in November, that will be delayed but possibly not prevented. If he loses, there will be bloodshed in 2025. There is no way ordinary citizens will put up with this much longer. The left gradually turns up the heat but the country is fast approaching  having had it up to here.  The anesthetic won't last. Citizens are more rapidly losing their rights, now. Starting with gas stoves and electric cars. There are grim times ahead.

Everywhere you go, it's just trashy and people have no common sense or sense of others. Absolutely the most selfish country and people. You know this if you have travelled abroad.

If healthcare and education are high in your country, maybe you should move to the Nordic countries. They have socialist programs that are taxpayer-funded, and they have a better quality of life than most Americans. But they Tax you, and they don't care if you're rich or poor. You have to pay your taxes. And it is socialism, not communism. But you probably don't want to because you get the ick when you hear the word socialist and assume that all forms of socialism are communism, just like how most do not understand that a lot of right-wingers are liberals and being a liberal doesn't necessarily make you a left winger. Communism is when they expect money to fall from the sky socialism is where people pay taxes to enjoy a better life with you know education and healthcare benefits. And they get to save their money up because they don't have to pay raising costs on healthcare.

Liberal policies and a corrupt president are plunging America into crushing debt, and implementing policies that are causing massive inflation. The media covers it up or downplays it or willfully distracts the population from seeing how bad it is.
School test scores are dismal, the economy is bad, crime is at an all time high and fentanyl deaths have incresed greatly in the last 3 years.
