It is wanting to be back in 2019 again. No wars, low crime, no illegal aliens, and you actually had money left over at the end of the month. As messed up as 2020 was with Covid most people still think of it fondly as the good old days.

Of course not.
Why?
Because, to me, Trump nostalgia is how he's fucked over people for the last 50+ years...
Like persons of color that his racist apartment rental tactics that the Federal Government sued him over in 1973...

Like the USFL...

Like all the unpaid contractors and lawyers that he hired...

Like all the financial and government institutions he defrauded and now has to pay almost a half-billion dollars for that fraud.

Why would I feel nostalgia for one of the most profound assholes in American history?
If you voted for him in 2016, fine, you were duped.
If you voted for him in 2020, you should have known better.
If you plan on voting for him in 2024, you need professional help.
I am not nostalgic for Trump but I do want to return to the times which he created for us.
Thanks for MHO!
I hate these cellphone's! I just spent a half hour writing my answer and I hit the back button accidentally and it was gone and now I am tired.
Yes, I have a bad case of Trump Nostalgia Syndrome!

.
One thing i’ll say is though i dont support either of the main two parties nor candidates, his presidential run of 2017-2021 was my best financial years. I’d like to make money like that again, i just can't say i’d want a package deal that includes him
I dont have anything for or against either party but i would still have a stacked savings if i didn't get laid off in 2022 and 2023
@DizzyDesii
Amen to that. Just printing for the better part of 4 years.

I wouldn't say nostalgia, but more so that I didn't think about politics or government at that period of time. That was a really nice feeling. Just making money, moving around, and getting by while worrying about which region would be best for me. Not the overall picture, or anything like that.
One thing I will say is that the fentanyl crisis isn't so much a big deal if you compare it to the meth crisis that was already ongoing in that timeframe. Each of them just affect different cities and regions depending on which drugs are popular and cheap where.
Ehh, not many manage to make it out of the grasp of meth or heroin, fentanyl really only bares it's fangs when you use it as a cut and people die from someone inexperienced putting too much in. The same can happen cutting coke with meth, as it is way cheaper and will produce more bang for the buck.
I can't argue that mg for mg fentanyl is deadlier, but regardless these are both issues you only have to worry about if you do drugs. I've noticed that since I stopped fooling with drugs the amount of people who want to rob me, and friends who die of ODs has dropped to about zero.
I'll keep a narcan shot around for old times sake, but personally I don't care too much about a drug epidemic outside of large cities or dense suburbs. It isn't a me problem anymore.
Still can't read a data chart, can you?
Still creaming over your temporary tax break while denying he's the reason they've gone up this year and will continue to go up until the Dems can overturn the Tax Laws.
Still don't believe he increased the debt by $8.18 trillion, do ya?
And so on, ad nauseum.

Oh, translation for maga's... "Ignorance is bliss".
Are you going to get the brand new $400 Nike Air Force gold Trump shoes? They look real good

I wouldn't mind a resurgence of covid shutting everything down again. as this time I wouldn't be stuck in my lab 24 hours a day. last round I spent far too much time away from my family as my lab was one of the many labs tasked with testing vaccines, getting a lock on what made covid tick and what variants might come up among other things
fact is: trump "could" have escalated so many international affairs into a war... but he didn't. obama did and he got the peace nobel price. biden didn't hesitate a second to push putin to start the war with ukraine the second he got into office.
I would prefer a nice shirt.
no wars? We were in Afghanistan, Iraq, & Syia and we kept bombing Yemen.
Crime went up in 2019 and 2020: Antifa riots ring a bell?
Which all happened under Obama or Bush
Like the wars I mean; hate how GaG doesn't let me edit what I post... Similar Worlds is so much better
@bingbongbangbung so there were no riots under Trump? Crime was not rising under Trump? We didn't have troops in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Syria under Trump, nor did he bomb Yemen?
Trump got us out of Iraq and had a good exit strategy for Afghanistan. Biden canceled it because he wanted to cancel everything that Trump did. Then he let his incompetent Sec of Defense completely botch it, killing 13 service men and women. And nobody was held responsible. Biden was too busy looking at his watch while their bodies were unloaded.
Trump got us out of Iraq? No he did not. From Nov 2020 "At President Trump’s direction, the Pentagon on Tuesday ordered U. S. troop levels reduced to 2,500 in both Iraq and Afghanistan, accelerating a planned drawdown but stopping short of the departing president’s promise to end America’s involvement in the two lengthy conflicts."
U. S. crime rate & statistics for 2021 was 6.81, a 6.02% increase from 2020.
U. S. crime rate & statistics for 2020 was 6.42, a 28.78% increase from 2019. HUGE INCREASE UNDER TRUMP!
U. S. crime rate & statistics for 2019 was 4.99, a 1.14% increase from 2018.
U. S. crime rate & statistics for 2018 was 4.93, a 5.99% decline from 2017.
I don't consider having a mentally ill criminal as President to be the "good old days".
Yeah, tat low interest rates and low gas prices were tough to take. I really like having illegal aliens panhandling in Home Depots parking lot too Having a new war start every other month is one of the good things about having Biden as president. I love seeing my retirement account still not back to where it was 4 years agom
No not in the least. Sorry
Naturally. I feel completely raped as America has been reduced to a joke.
No, I have Trump Fatigue Syndrome. The sooner they lock that loser up the better.
You've basically described brain damage 🤷
Nope
