Bad things I experienced in Turkey?

I am from Turkey and I have been harassed many times in Turkey, the old people there are very perverted. And most people at school are bullies. I was bullied from the age of 7 to 14. I stayed at home in Turkey for 2 years and now I'm in Canada. People in Turkey are really ignorant, even the school system is far behind. I learned so much in Canada, it was very nice.

I can't speak from the perspective of a resident, but if you're a tourist it seems like everyone is out to scam you. And I agree that many Turks are very perverted. The country is beautiful and interesting but has some very shitty people. Then they are surprised so many people hate them.

And I agree that a lot of them are ignorant and stupid. They assume every White person who comes to their country is Russian🤣

If you sit in a Turkish restaurant or bar and the menu cards don’t show any prices, you know the scam is on.

I'm doing very well in Canada; You only know Turkey as much as you see it in the movies. There are very bad people in Turkey, for example, in our province called Adana, there is a lot of theft and murder.

Glad to hear your doing well here💐 I admit I adore Istanbul but I get the idea of bad aspects not being showed. But I’m still surprised because when I listen to lonely women travelers they always describe Turkey as safe. Maybe tourist cities are not like smaller ones. When you come to Turkey, you may encounter fraud and harassment. Be careful, for example, you may get scammed while taking a taxi. Even everywhere you eat, it is better to order from the app. Usually, traveling people are just trying to show you their beautiful places.
