Having been falsely accused in college already this topic hits me very hard

They are now going to persecute school and related activities for not letting boys into women's locker rooms.

Women will get raped because of measures like this and otherwise be driven from sports. As they acknowledged they were already implementing this, so we know exactly what is going to happen.

from a quick search, this is to do with sex based discrimination in education? then yeah it is a good thing because discrimination DOES happen, i can't believe protection for pregnancy and sexual assault has only happened now though - and no this won't suddenly make more women make false accusations against men, if anything it can help victims actually report their rape because it IS severely under reported and under prosecuted - if a man refuses to go college because women gain more safety TYPICALLY AGAINST THEM then they're the problem anyways

Im sorry to say taht is not how Title IX or any 'federal' act has ever worked.

What they do is enable unelectred federal executives and courts to go after State Schools demanding particular policies such as in this case men in women's locker rooms and sports. We know that is what they are trying to do with this power because as the article itself quotes the Biden administration saying they were already implementing this.

We also know what has been happening in the States that have already compiled with women being crushed in sports by biological males, and assaulted in their bathrooms.
The Biden Administration is rewriting Title Ix to force conservative States to go along with this rather than outlaw compliance as they have been.

And if something happens to them and they report it, there would also have to be a reliable and impartial investigation? Investigations are never impartial, especially for men, are are kidding me? 🤣 but sure you can believe that they will be. You're wrong, but that doesn't mean you can't still believe something that is wrong. I mean, you're a woman you wouldn't know

Even if it doesn't automatically make the impartiality go away, now at least there's an explicit rule there against it. That's progress, right? Make it so that women will have some sort of immediate reprocussions for filing a harassment complaint on campus. Nothing too serious. Like, maybe make it so that she has give up another benefit or privilege she has in order to do so?

Otherwise women who are dealing with actual harassment won't be believed because there are too many women falsely accusing men of such things.

So make there be a punishment for falsely accusing? That seems fair, there's usually punishments for slander. But in order to figure out whether an accusation is false or not there would still have to be an investigation, wouldn't there? And that investigation should be reliable and impartial.

So you would want there to be investigations into both parties, when only one has been accused? Why not just have a rule that all accusations must be investigated, that way someone can be accused of lying/slander and then there would have to be an investigation about that? I know it won't magically become impartial just because of a rule, but I still do think rules like this are the way to make it more impartial than it was before. And then over time it will gradually become truly impartial, hopefully.

How does a trans woman have more rights than a man in college? In many colleges they can't even play sports. What if she has a sports scholarship? Then she's just out of luck if she happens to be trans and has to either lose her scholarship or pretend to be a man until she graduates.
