Anonymous(25-29)+1 yHow is it women's fault if men can't control themselves? I thought we were people, not animals. Women like shirtless guys, but they don't rape them en mass every summer. I think we should be able to handle returning the same basic respect to women.

Asker+1 yTry telling that to the local rapist, I didn't say it was women's fault, I said it will most likely increase the rape rates, those facts won't really change unfortunately.
- +1 y
Men aren't women and women aren't men @Anon
Opinion Owner+1 y@chicofromthe305 why is there a local rapist? That sounds like the problem in this scenario, not a shirtless woman. Let's worry about why there are rapists living so casually among us, instead of worrying what those rapists will think about the local law-abiding women.
Opinion Owner+1 y@CriticalCatDad we're both people, aren't we? We both have the physical capacity to get turned on, and we both have the mental capacity to act civilized and not like wild animals... don't we?
- +1 y
If you're speaking about the majority of people sure but I am asexual which isn't the majority of people. My resentment is stronger than most people. My hate for the female gender is astonishingly stronger than the average man's.
- +1 y
If a woman wanted to have sex with me I'd probably punch her in the face and kick her out of my apartment
Opinion Owner+1 y@CriticalCatDad woah, that sounds like a different question. Both men and women should be able to take "no" for an answer, no matter how they feel about the person, whether they are in love with them or hate their guts. Rape is never excusable. Self defense against rape absolutely is.
- +1 y
Right, for women it's acceptable. If you're a man attempting to defend yourself against a woman who is either abusing him physically or sexually he is seen as abusing her by merely defending himself. 🤷🏻‍♂️
- +1 y
Brain dead people would argue against that
Asker+1 yThere's many reasons, men get desperate, police suck, people are too cowardly to stand up for the people that can't stand up for themselves, lack of morals, lack of empathy, lack of mannerism, lack of dignity, selfishness, hate, maybe even jealousy, my point is that there's many reasons, I feel like you are creating a warped idea of the point behind my question, I didn't blame women but this idea surely doesn't help knowing rapists exist, we all wish they didn't but the well known fact is that they exist and knowing that knowledge we can only assume that if women walked around breasts out, those numbers will increase cause it's only a logical assumption considering people rape even when women are fully clothed, it's a logical assumption that the temptation to these rapists would be next level of women are walking around half naked.
Opinion Owner+1 y@CriticalCatDad yes, people who would argue that self defense is abuse if a man does it are braid dead. In both situations, the rapist is at fault, and the rapist should be dealt with—not the woman who only took her shirt off or the man who only defended himself. Those people did nothing wrong.
- +1 y
I'm getting tired of this so I'm going to be blatantly honest. I don't give a fuck what women do and I don't give a fuck what rapists do.
Opinion Owner+1 yEvery reason you give for their being local rapists is a bad reason. Why don't we address those reasons instead of putting extra rules on women to accommodate rapists? Why don't we make police suck less, for example? That seems like something that should and can be addressed.
Opinion Owner+1 y@chicofromthe305 ^
Opinion Owner+1 y@CriticalCatDad then why did you even say anything to begin with? It seemed like you did care, and I do care,
- +1 y
Women put themselves into dumbass positions and cry rape as if they're innocent. They're not. They don't get to do that and they won't get any sympathy from me.
Asker+1 yIf you want to waste your time then sure thing, I've realized a long time ago that we have no importance when it comes to the decisions of the government, things are easier said than done, with all due respect, you arguing online about rapists isn't going to decrease the rape rates so you are being just as worthless and useless in stopping rapes as I am by committing your time in an argument, personally if i saw a rape happening id shoot the rapist or pistol whip him at the least but im not going to sit here and state unrealistic expectations from society like im unaware on the possibilities of change being slim considering people do what they ant and don't rarely listen to guidance, I've stated that a realistic way to prevent rapes would be not to proceed with this movement, not cause its women's fault but cause sickos exist, if you are done stating unrealistic solutions id like to hear an effective one.
Asker+1 yI'm sure if whatever you stated was easily accessible you would've done it already right? Why haven't you? Is it cause it's not possible because people do what they want and nobody cares about what you think of society or is it cause you are being patient and with the snap of a finger you can fix everything cause if so what you waiting for make these rapists go away bro
- +1 y
Rapists do not see topless women and rape them. Interviews with rapists find that rapists go after women with easy to remove pants, women who are distracted, and women with their hair tied.
Asker+1 yWell I don't know how it works, I'm not a rapist but I can only assume breasts in the air won't help
- +1 y
Why?
Asker+1 yCause breasts are known to turn men on aren't they? It sounds like a no brainer to assume that it will only make these perverts reach the level of temptation that will push them to do their rapist shit
Opinion Owner+1 y@CriticalCatDad being dumb isn't a crime, so even then they are innocent. They don't need sympathy from anyone, rapists need to not be tolerated. Neither rapist men or women.
- +1 y
That’s not how rapists work. Rapists choose their victims based on how easy it is to rape them and if they meet their sexual criteria

Sooo exposed breasts were actually common in European fashion in the 16th century. In the 15th century, it was fashionable for high class women. Queen Elizabeth the 1st was known for doing exactly that.

+1 yNot necessarily. In the US, probably. We have such effed up perceptions of nudity and sexuality. Other countries have public nudism and don’t share our rates of rape as it is now. Even more countries have common showers, baths and saunas for both sexes and every age. They simply don’t see every inch of bare flesh as a sexual invitation. We are severely dysfunctional in that way. And it’s a damn shame.
00 Reply 5.9K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. I seriously doubt it. Did string bikinis increase rape rates? What about mini-skirts, short-shorts or tube tops?
You know how to stop rapes? Rape rapists to death with fence posts.

Anonymous(36-45)+1 ynope. seeing titties does not increase the likelihood of rape. but it would 100% increase the amount of "sexual assaults" as guys would be more tempted to reach out and touch those beautiful bouncing boobies they see around town.

Asker+1 yThat makes sense
+1 yNo. Men don’t see breast and have the overwhelming desire to rape. Men consciously decide to rape women then find a person they can rape. Rapists go after women with easy to remove clothing, not topless women.
15 Reply- +1 y
wouldn't a rapist go for less clothing because that kind of goes along with easy to remove clothing lol.
- +1 y
@Awesomesauce2005 It’s the bottoms that matter. Rapists look for easy to remove pants
- +1 y
Simple solution, just wear a chastity belt
- +1 y
@Awesomesauce2005 Or men could stop raping women
- +1 y
Some men unlike me dont have that much willpower.
Some of these ideas are truly interesting. Will women pee standing up, too? A woman's chest, especially naked, looks incredibly enticing for every straight and bi guy and for many women. I assume the number of traffic accidents will also drastically increase.

+1 yIs rape common on topless or nude beaches?
Asker+1 yI don't know but one can only assume there's security and these beaches are most likely in highly populated areas, rapes occasionally never happen in highly populated areas or more people would get caught for rapes
- +1 y
Nude beaches do not have security.
Asker+1 yBut it's populated, or are you going to deny that as well
- +1 y
It’s populated. For the most part, clothing doesn’t affect rape. There’s a reason rape rates don’t increase in the summer.
Asker+1 yTo be fair most rapes are unreported and the rapists are rarely caught, most victims keep it to themselves from what I've heard which makes your statement invalid considering we are unaware of the actual rates but we aren't talking about clothing, we are talking about the absence of clothing, that's what the question is about
- +1 y
The fallacy to word ratio in this run on sentences is hilarious
Asker+1 yDoes that mean you don't have a valid argumentative response to what I said
- +1 y
No, but this isn’t even an argument since you’re not actually proving anything. I’ve already won
Asker+1 yWe are on the same boat then considering you didn't say anything of worth either, it's only logical to assume that walking around without a top will only draw attention and even unwanted attention and possibly even the wrong people, what you said isn't evidence, it's just junk you most likely read on Instagram or some other unreliable source, that doesn't disproof my theory it only shows how uninformed you are, if that's a win I wonder what your losses look like
- +1 y
Except that that isn’t logical. Again, rapists select victims based on other criteria.
escapethewolf.com/.../
Where are your sources?
Asker+1 yLike I said my is a logical assumption and a theory, you aren't comprehending that these stats are based by the rapists that were reported or have gotten caught and what makes it even more inaccurate is that these rapists had to admit which let's be foreal they could just as easily be lying, these stats are inaccurate because not all rapists look for the same things and it's hard to believe they all look for the same things, what if a rapist is a titty fucker, what then? To be fair that can also be a minority but my point is that your "facts" aren't facts because most are probably still roaming the streets most likely with their own preferences and strategies on how to do their sicko shit and a shirtless woman means the woman doesn't have a shirt which is logically just a piece of clothing they don't have to rip off which would only be making it easier for a rapist now wouldn't it? You completely knocking down my theory only shows you are close minded to the theory that clothing can play a part in how rapists choose their target, so unless it's written somewhere you won't believe it is what you are telling me?
- +1 y
Your theory is just plain stupid.
“What if they’re titty fuckers”
That won’t increase incidents of rape because there aren’t many, if any, rapists that do that.
“What if the rapist is lying”
Why would he lie in this scenario? There are several more rapists that say the same thing. “What if he’s lying” isn’t an argument. What if he’s not?
Your theory is unlikely considering literally every piece of evidence points towards it being wrong.
Asker+1 ySounds to me like you are just a sheep without the ability to think outside the box, if it's not written you don't believe it, sounds more like the issue is that you expect others to do the research for you and you believe what they feed you, saying all rapists think the same is highly unrealistic and I'd expect anyone to assume most people think differently, you aren't getting my point, I'm not saying they are lying, I'm saying they could be and you are simply putting your full belief on what these people tell you, the only reason you aren't seeing any evidence to my theory is cause there's no women walking around shirtless, you already calling bullshit and rapists haven't even seen half naked women walking around yet, im willing to put my life on the fact that if women did walk around half naked that would replace your lose pants on your rapist leaderboard that you so convincingly believe.
- +1 y
“ the only reason you aren't seeing any evidence to my theory is cause there's no women walking around shirtless”
Objectively false, women can be topless in numerous US states and cities.
by the way, me being a “sheep” isn’t why you can’t provide any evidence for your claim, the reason is that your claim cannot be supported because it’s wrong.
by the way, you’re allowed to use periods more than once. Did your second grade teacher not tell you about run on sentences? Or is punctuation for sheep?
Asker+1 yI don't use proper punctuations cause it's faster to type this way, are your stats from those states as well or are you only half assing this cause you assume it's from every state but you aren't sure, I like that, your sheep like mentality doesn't deserve proper punctuations, no punctuations for you lol
Foreal tho, I'm assuming you are telling me this knowing the stats of how many women actually walk around half naked in these states correct or are you cluelessly just hoping that knowing that it's legal to walk around half naked in these states is enough to back up your statement cause believe it or not, that matters, I've seen many things from other states and not one has shown this law being expressed in any way, it only makes me think that women don't walk around half naked even if it's legal, I wonder why- +1 y
lol I’m done arguing with someone with this little critical thinking
