Ron Desantis was too simmilar to Trump to draw any more voters to the ticket
Marco Rubio has always been a meh candidate. Not bad, but not great at attracting supporters.

Vivek Ramaswmy was to "out there" to draw in people who think there needs to be a balance to trump's crazy

JD Vance is too far right to draw more center/center right voters.

Doug Burgum was too unknown.

I don't think any of the names that had been tossed around as potential VP picks were all that great, to be honest.

I think JD Vance is a good choice. Ron DeSantis as well as Marco Rubio are both Florida residents. Nikki Haley is a lightweight who cannot be trusted, Vivek would be better suited for a cabinet post. Doug Burnham is another rich white businessman like Trump.
JD is young and has real grass roots appeal.
