I just feel like anything that involves cosmetology, it's often excluded such as grants for cosmetology school because it is considered an "elective" but even with anything considered an elective in this world is still a huge necessity to many people regarding physical appearance. Clearly we live a shallow world obsessed with looks and people should not be worried and concerned about what others think of them so please spare your "Love Yourself For Who You Are" comments and focus on the bigger picture here. Just as health is very important to all of us, apparently so as physical appearance especially amongst women who are often judged more so by their looks rather than men due to restrictive westernized beauty standards due to one particular stereotype of what is considered "beautiful". I think if health insurance does cover beauty treatments, less people will be dealing with these issues.
Should health insurance cover non-medical cosmetic procedures?
