I didn't hear him say anything about how "men" had been "demonized". It was the two people on the podcast who used that divisive terminology.
He was not pitting men against women. He didn't say anything about reestablishing male dominance over women.

He said "Don't allow this broken culture to send the message that you are a bad person because you are a man..." He went on to say that the cultural message was to turn everyone, whether male or. female, into androgymous idiots who think the same, talk the same and act the same.
"We want you guys to thrive as young men and young women."

I never had a victim mentality. I never resented women.

I think that he sent a great message to both men and women. It raises up both genders.

There never was an "era" of demonising men and masculinity, so your question doesn't even make sense. What was referred to as "toxic masculinity" was the version of it that stressed harmful beliefs and the behaviours based upon those beliefs (ex. that "real men" ignore signs of ill health and "tough it out" rather than see a doctor about it).
