It is a profound shift in the transplant system, whose promise of equality has become increasingly warped by expediency and favoritism. Other groups have benefited, too, data shows: Asian patients, men, college graduates and candidates at larger hospitals.

THIS is the kind of "baked in" institutional racism that CRT attempts to study and MAGA denies. THIS is the result of for profit healthcare. It's criminal. It's depraved indifference to human life.

I guess A? You need to post sources, I find this common with your questions. How can I ascertain the validity of your question without looking at the actual study? My presumption is that there's some extraneous factors. Ie I'd presume that different blood types appear in variant frequencies between different ethnic groups. Therefor it may make sense that Asian and European blood-type organs would be sent to people of the same ethnicity at a higher rate than they would be sent to African descendants. That said I can't even ascertain the actual claim without seeing the actual study so it could be something completely different.

This is another reason not to record race, or make it available in the system view. that solves the issue.

I don't know enough, I'm sure people with money and access and networking will try and can. that concerning if it is race specific. I could see it being "this person is a high performer and this person is a criminal"

They usually do not give organ transplants to alcoholics or drug users. They figure that you ruined your own liver/kidneys, so now you have to live, or die, with it. They think that if they gave you a new organ that you would just do the same. So this is the reason that some people get skipped. But we all know that rich donors and important people get fast tracked too. It is what it is.
