An enlisted person and non commissioned officers sign an enlistment contract for a specific period of time. In return for their service, they are paid, given food and housing in some cases, provided medical care, education, training, and leadership training. Athe end of their contract, they can either sign a new contract or choose to do something else with their life. It's no different than any other employment contract.
A commissioned officer usually has an initial period of service (like 3 years) where they can't resign. After that, they can resign their commission and walk away any time they like. I resigned my commission after 15 years, 5 years short of retirement, to go work in Fortune 100 companies, a $250 million startup, and Private Equity, Hedge Funds, and Investment Banking. That was the right decision for me at that age. I made far more than my military retirement would have been worth. I never felt like a slave. It was a great experience with some of the best people I've ever worked with.
Depends on your perspective on rights and freedoms. There are upsides and downsides to being enlisted ( just like anything in this world).
Yes service people answer to a higher set of rules and laws ( military laws and regulations) during their time (whether it’s 4 years or longer ). The military law is something you willing choose to sign up for when you are joining. They will explain all of the details of the process and how it will work until your contract is up. You don’t have to go through with it if you have issues or problems but it’s an opportunity that comes with strings attached, perhaps more than some people are comfortable with.
False, it's something people do willingly. They aren't forcing anyone. The military can also offer amazing opportunities if one is willing to do what is necessary to take advantage of them. The rules and structure aren't for everyone, but that's a far cry from slavery.

I would say true, except they get paid. But once someone joins they have to at least a mandatory 3 years, and they have to do things they may not necessarily want to do
Basically yes but w rights of some kind. In war its maybe worse.
Not in an all volunteer force! Once they get there their asses belong to the DI... Their new God, mommy & teacher all rolled into one!
They definitely need way better treatment. Plus weed out the trigger-happy psychos.
Opinions are not true or false. Facts and fallacies are.
No, because I'm the great-great-grandson of slaves.
False. They volunteer to serve.
More like indentured servants.
At lest up until they can discharge
Nah slaves don't get paid.
