This isn't a mocking question or a race baiting question. This is a legitimate question to get an understanding of how people of all races see it.
I remember when i was a kid... a little girl in my neighborhood kept calling me "black girl".
Her mom was black, and her dad was Hispanic... we were playing jumprope or something with other kids. And she would go, "it's the black girls turn!"
I knew she didn't mean any harm... and I wasn't offended. Her mom came and yelled at her though 💀 lol. She cried...
Some people feel it's rude... mentioning race.

1 yIt’s about as offensive as “cracker” which isn’t offensive at all
27 ReplyNot really, maybe if it was a kind of reversal of systemic racism but white people can’t really be discriminated against in a nation founded on ideals of white supremacy.
This is a really weird conversation to have if the white person is saying “you can say whiteboi bc there’s no such thing as racism agains white people in a society based in white supremacy” and you’re the one saying “that’s not true” as a black woman

Oh la de fookin da... you did just discrimante people because of their skin colour and racist.

1 yIt definitely CAN be derogatory depending on the context. Some black kid called me that in class once in a very condescending tone. Though in his defense, I did say the "N word" in class, though in MY defense, it wasn't directed at him.

Call me a whiteboi I couldn't care less. Personally I find this whole rascist thing stupid af. We are all humans in the end. People should stop being so sensitive about people making racial comments. You ain't dying from some strangers comments, it can actually be pretty funny to make fun of eachother. It becomes a problem when you take it personal
10 Reply5.7K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Not really because the person who uses it is clearly an idiot as evidenced by their inability to spell "boy".

I did answer your question.
Let me put it in terms you can understand...
The person who uses that term is someone I don't respect. Therefore, not only does it not bother me - I wouldn't find it offensive - but user is announcing to the world that everyone else shouldn't respect the user either.
Let me put it to you like this...
Suppose I was a kindergarten teacher and I tell the kids its nap time. Billy doesn't want to nap. So, Billy calls me a "poopyhead". Am I bothered by Billy calling me a poopy head? No, he's 5 or 6 and has the emotional maturity of Trump. But, since the other kids don't say such things, what Billy is really doing is teaching me about Billy and his parents - how he is being brought up. Apparently, they are not doing a good job and/or Billy is likely to become a Republican. Either way, I am not bothered by Billy calling me a poopyhead because I have no respect for Billy's opinions on the issue of naptime. - 1 y
Again you are still speaking on the person. It's not hard is tje word derogatory. Offensive.
But you seem to focused on trying to attack the person.
Instead of answering the question.
If this was a question on a test of.
It's like saying is a Toyota a good car and you going the guy buying a toyota is immature.
That has 0 answers to the question.
The question is about the word not tje person's maturity level.
So nope you would fail this question if it was a test - 1 y
Here: I've answered your question multiple times, but I will Power Point it:
Q: Is the term Whiteboi offensive?
A: The answer to this question depends on the individual reading the term "Whiteboi".
For me, I am not offended.
Q: Why are you not offended?
A: Words do not exist in a vacuum. For any and every word, that word is used - either written or spoken - by someone who deliberately chose to use that word. Therefore, the user of the word is really who is at issue.
In the case of the word "Whiteboi", the person who chooses to use that word is either A) an idiot or B) immature. In both cases, I have no respect for that person. Since I have no respect for them, I have no offense in the things that they say or write. Their words are unimportant.

Sometimes people say stuff like that as a way to call you sheltered or naive. Generally calling someone pathetic...

Anonymous(45 Plus)1 yIt’s a low class thing to say. In the upper classes it just isn’t said. Even in middle or lower classes it is uneducated and classless.

Opinion Owner1 yYou just don’t hear people with Masters degrees walking around seriously saying Whiteboi. Just like they don’t say my nigga. It is also not something said in conference rooms, golf courses, yachts, or beachfront homes. It is said amongst retail workers, low level government jobs, unemployed, and I would expect that majority of those using these words would be much higher in the lower levels of education.

It's actually more common now a days in college.
But this really didn't answer the question.
Is it rude, or in a way something that should be considered racist. Because of the fact they call grown men boy.
Because like i know people who date white guys and they say it more like endearing, but i was thinking.
Maybe it's not something that should be said.
Opinion Owner1 yIt depends on intent. You can’t call black guys that because 150 years ago they were often addressed as boy. That’s why in the 1960s people started saying things like, hey man, how is it going man. White guys did not have that background which is why in 1976 “Play that funky music white boy” was a hit that was written by Rob Parissi, a white guy with the white band Wild Cherry, and accepted by a huge white audience.
Rob Parissi is the singer in this video:
But if it is meant to be derogatory then that is different.
The Amazon Prime TV Series is called The Boys. The two main characters of The Boys in the show are two white guys. I don’t think you could do that if they were black. White guys will often say, “I’m going out with the boys”. As it is a common word in white male culture. So we don’t take offense if it is said the right way.
The Boys, the large picture of the guy and the guy on the lower right are the 2 main characters in the group known as “The Boys” in the show but there are other main characters as well just not in that group:

Opinion Owner1 yOh, and a Bachelors Degree today I don’t think is necessarily “educated”. I think you need a Masters at least in today’s world. But say Whiteboi in a large corporation or to a customer, and HR will likely have the person’s ass so it is an unwise habit I would think. It is dicey depending on who hears the message just as you are wondering about your friend. I live among the affluent and I don’t hear it from anyone. I do hear “the boys” from time to time.
27.1K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. I have never heard this term before but I sort of live under a rock. However it looks to me like it is a derogatory term invented by somebody that hates white people. That group includes many rabid white people.

It's kinda a weird one.
Some people use it to be racist.
Some people don't use it as racist, just a way to describe a white man.
And some black women use it as a term of endearment to describe their white boyfriend.
But it's like should it be considered racist period is what i wonder.
Same goes for white men. Some like being called it, some are really annoyed by it, and some are like it's not racist.
