Have you grown out of partying/clubbing? How old is too old for partying?

i am 23 now and I use to party a lot when I was 18-19 years old. Every other day I was at a party it seemed like.

but as I got a little older my partying slowed down. from every weekend, to every other weekend to once a month and now I will go to a party or club once every couple months. I just stopped being interested in partying/clubbing. Also I work a lot and I hate having to get up early in the morning after only having one hour of sleep because I stayed up all night partying. I can't function during the day without getting my sleep.

I like small gatherings now with people that I know very well

i have a very close friend who is a guy and 23 years old as well. he works a lot too but he actually makes time to party. He will party every single night and he says that he does not think he could ever stop partying even when he becomes old.

-do you think women loose interest in partying earlier on then guys do? Why?

I'm 19 and I'm bored of it. Legal age is 18 where I live, and honestly I don't like drinking that much. I think it's fun when you're single and young, and after that it's dull and I find myself sort of wondering why I'm even at the bar.

-Yes, but I'm not sure why.

-Yes, and no sometimes I like it but I don't go out half as much as I used to.

-25, but some people party forever - I think as long as you're not a bar star or so old that you might die from alcohol that there is no age for a few casual drinks with friends

-Hell no! Maybe once a month, if that. And nope.

-Nothing, I used to like being hit on just as an ego boost and receiving free alcohol, being with my friends, but it gets boring after a while. And hangovers really suck.

I am 38 years old and have never been to pubs,bars and lounges before but I love to go to gatherings such as family gatherings,Christian gatherings and children's parties.I love to spend long hours talking to my loved ones and good friends at these gatherings which are much more meaningful.And I get to meet many new people at such gatherings too.And the new people that I meet at such gatherings have much better character.

I hate clubbing and will never go clubbing in my life.I know a lot of people will say that I have never lived because of this but I don't care.Sorry.

l feel the same way about wanting to have meaningful times with people I care about. When you go to a crowded party or club, a lot of times it is way too loud in the place to have a conversation with someone there. At most you can only look at someone and judge them on their attractiveness rather than actually connect with them. I think one who parties all the time is one who is looking for a way to disconnect themselves from the world Or they are trying to pick up/hit on girls/guys

People who loves clubbing usually like to judge others based on their outward appearances instead of getting to know the ''secret person of the heart''.And I'm sure you know better than me what sorts of nonsense people do at these places.I only live once and I am not going to let my life go to waste with nonsense like that.No offense,sorry. :)

You're too old when you feel too old. If you feel that way at 23 then there's your answer. It's whatever you feel comfortable with.

I didn't start going to bars until my early 20's. So I was pretty much just getting started around your age. I never went wild though. I still go out every now and then but I avoid places with too much of a young crowd. I am always the DD. Even the odd time I don't have to drive I don't like to drink that much. I think I am one of few people that goes JUST to dance. I really like dancing so yeah.

I don't think there is a set age on it but I will say that when I turned 23 I felt different as far as partying and getting drunk. I go out like once a week and its just because I'm bored. I like small gatherings too with people that I know. I do really like meeting new people but its just the partying seen gets old fast because its usually bunch of kids getting drunk and being loud lol

I think if your in your late 20s and you still want to go out and party every night than that's a little much but you know people are different am who am I to judge them.

It depends. Some move on to other things. Others never stop in their 60s or 80s.

I think partying becomes "too old" when one hits 25. Personally, even at my age, I'm not that into partying. I don't drink either. I like being around people I know well. I will party maybe once in 6 months or once in 3 months.

kinda happened to me too like the same age. it started to get kinda old & I had a real job too
