She never invites ME, I always invite her... help?

My girlfriend and I have been going out for about a month now and we really get a long great. We always do stuff fun when we hang out and she always has a great time. Here is the problem: If I go to a party, I say "hey there is a party at _____ if you want to go!" or to the movies "Hey wanna go to the movies tonight?" or to my house "Hey wanna come over?" etc... even texting and calling I have to initiate it. Once because I was getting tired of doing all that, I waited for a WEEK without texting her, and she never once made an attempt to text me first. We ran into each other at school and talked but went a few weeks without hanging out at all. Why isn't she making the effort if she thinks I'm "the greatest thing to ever happen" to her? If she truly likes me so much why doesn't she ever try?

Either she's one of those people for whom initiating doesn't come naturally to her (is she shy at all? Social anxiety?), or she thinks that you are taking the dominant/leadership position, and she's happy to have you "in charge" and to follow you.

Remember, you're in a RELATIONSHIP, and that means that you and your partner are going to have all kinds of differences of opinion and points of view, and so you'll actually need to have CONVERSATIONS about these things with each other, and come to understandings, and negotiate expectations. That's always necessary for a relationship to be successful in the long term.

She's obviously rather self-centered. A boyfriend isn't a fashion accessory when you pull him out and use him and then put him away until you're ready for him again. Seriously, she's not making any effort to make the relationship work. She either thinks that the man has to do everything, or she's not that crazy about you. Either way, I'd say your relationship is doomed. Before she cheats on you or ignores you altogether, just break up with her and save some of your pride. There are girls out there who actually want boyfriends and for more than emotional validation on her schedule. Seriously, it is time to break up.

Your "girlfriend" is an emotional vampire sucking you dry. Dump her and save your pride. She's probably fairly attractive so she's used to using men like this is my guess. Do you think she's not going to parties and hitting on other dudes while she keeps on ignoring you? You have to dump her spoiled ass before you catch her cheating on you.

its still early in your relationship so you don't have to be everywhere together. still, the fact that she never texts you first at all is bad. If its this early and you already are feeling weird about your relationship id say just end it

I would at least bring it up to her before doing anything like dumping her. Once its on the table the ball is in her court. If her behavior doesn't change, well then I think you know what you should do.
