Guys: My boyfriend is addicted to Pokemon games. Is that normal?

He is 20 right now. He goes on forums and battles other real people by having their gameboys linked to wifi. Is it just me or is this normal for a 20 year old? Or is this the same as other guys playing LOL or online computer games?

And does this say anything about how he will be in the future in a family when you have to be a grown up and take responsibilities?

It's normal to play games at 20. And 30. And older. It is just the same as playing any other MMO or online game.

You're so young. The fact that you're concerned about it saying something about the future proves how young and cute you are yourself! <3

I'm 23 and I still do that... major part of my childhood! Nah we can be responsible people, enjoying things from your childhood isn't a bad thing.

I suppose it could be considered a hobby, if it isn't already. I personally don't play Pokemon. I'm 29, although I do play video games (main sports). I suppose as long as it's not hurting anyone, it's fine. If he shows any maturity already in other ways, then I think you're fine (and so is he). If he pays any bills, then it's more like he can still be responsible and play Pokemon.
