For me it is without a doubt woman’s gymnastics. Female gymnasts literally demonstrate the purest form of feminine athleticism. Their grace, balance, focus, strength and flexibility is beautifully condensed in a human art form.
It’s also an athletic performance most (real) men can’t compete with. Especially when it comes to tumbling and the beam.
That’s a rarity considering how men almost always beat out women in athletic performance due to simple biology.
An equally trained, equal sized female boxer, runner, swimmer, weight lifter, etc will never beat out her male counterpart. That’s not sexist it’s just hard science. Male muscles are genetically more fiber dense and contract more force in comparison.
But in my opinion men can’t compete with women in apples to apples comparisons for gymnastics.
We might find the athletes attractive but we respect and admire what they are able to do. I am not going to be a fan of a consistently underperforming female athlete no matter how hot she it is nor will most men. We actually do care about what they are able to do.
