No, I’m usually outside burning a doob for the second half, lmao.
I’m getting alarmed about how little I’m giving a fuck about the NFL, or just sports on TV in general. I used to be so passionate, for all of it. I really am struggling to care as I get older, and it feels weird. To be fair, I’m a Boston sports fan, so it’s just been an embarrassment of riches my entire adult life, maybe I’m just satiated and complacent. Already reached all the mountaintops, several times over in some cases. The Patriots absolutely suck, I should be mad, but I just don’t have it in me to care anymore. I would have lost my mind ten years ago😂
But yeah, that said, I struggle to get charged up for the game now, let alone the halftime show, haha

u It depends on who's performing. If you ask me, it's inexcusable that Metallica has never played a Super Bowl Halftime Show. Who cares if they're all in their 60s now? They're talented and accomplished musicians and a Super Bowl is prime real estate for them.
Prince set a standard that no later act could ever even approach, and today everything is hip hop crap. I don't watch the game or the half time show, and I haven't for years. They can get by with just China and BLM supporters - they don't need me and I damn sure don't need them.
With the A's leaving the Oakland Colosseum, I'm finished with professional sports.

They should just shorten halftime to that of a normal game. These shows are a waste of time. Yes, I did like the one a couple years ago with Shakira and JLo (Shakira dominated), but they are just an unnecessary distraction.
Time is better spent replenishing the popcorn.
Probably even less than I care about the actual game. Really I just look at as an excuse to meet with my family and eat chicken wings and nachos.
