I’m getting alarmed about how little I’m giving a fuck about the NFL, or just sports on TV in general. I used to be so passionate, for all of it. I really am struggling to care as I get older, and it feels weird. To be fair, I’m a Boston sports fan, so it’s just been an embarrassment of riches my entire adult life, maybe I’m just satiated and complacent. Already reached all the mountaintops, several times over in some cases. The Patriots absolutely suck, I should be mad, but I just don’t have it in me to care anymore. I would have lost my mind ten years ago😂

But yeah, that said, I struggle to get charged up for the game now, let alone the halftime show, haha

It depends on who's performing. If you ask me, it's inexcusable that Metallica has never played a Super Bowl Halftime Show. Who cares if they're all in their 60s now? They're talented and accomplished musicians and a Super Bowl is prime real estate for them.

They should just shorten halftime to that of a normal game. These shows are a waste of time. Yes, I did like the one a couple years ago with Shakira and JLo (Shakira dominated), but they are just an unnecessary distraction.

Time is better spent replenishing the popcorn.
