These people who "identify" as women but are obviously male need to be stripped of their medals and banned from women's sports.
"Identity" is irrelevant. If you were born in a male body, you are male. Period.
I support the IOC and other organizations in requiring DNA tests and even testosterone evaluations. They test for doping, so why not?
I don't care about trans athletes' hopes and dreams. Lots of people who want to be star athletes never measure up. So trans athletes can cry me a river.
I also wholeheartely support President Trump's Executive Order 14168 that, among other things, bans trans from women's athletics.

At the elite athletic level is where the transgender athlete actually can have an advantage, most people deciding on this appear to agree.
I think it might be a hard pill for trans athletes to swallow, but let biological women compete against biological women and biological men compete against biological men. Though there doesn't seem to be a push for born women who've transitioned to compete against born men.
There have been cases where lower performing male athletes transitioned and became higher performing "female" athletes. Since this has been seen to be the case, I think it seems reasonable.
I'm trans and I agree with this on the most part. I dont think it should be a ban and never speak of it again. It's something that needs to be reviewed (for example if someone transitioned before puberty is that biological advantage there?).
It shouldn't be a ban that let's anti trans campaigners cheer and then done. It should be a ban with more to follow to allow trans athletes to compete. Whether that is found to be fair within certain sports or done through their own category I would leave for actual experts to decide.
To keep things fair I still think that if your born the opposite sex it doesn't matter when you transitioned or started blockers, you can't play in the opposite genders sport. If anything they need their own league, but even then the Transwoman will win majority of the time over the transmen.

Fundamentally feminism is deep seated resentment over biology and there will be a cheer squad for some female beating men. The narrative is that male and female relative strengths are due to social conditioning :) . Little girls aren't encouraged to feel strong whereas boys are. Females are actually stronger is the pitch.
So there have been national women's soccer teams pitted against U14 boy teams. Unfortunately for the narrative the women's team gets trounced.

This is no offense to Trans people... they can have a right to themselves, their feelings, and to compete and be their best. But it is perfectly good to say they are not women and not compete with them.
The root issue is selfishness, feelings and emotions. It's necessary to have good boundaries with people, in all forms, not just trans.
I have no issue with an open competition should they decide to go that route... as long as people know what they are getting into.

While I'm personally a big supporter of the LGBTQ+ community and am a part of it myself this just simply seems fair.
Men are just simply way stronger physically than women it's not even funny and even if trans women are valid women they're still biologically male and that gives them a massive advantage over women who are biologically female. I hear that trans women taking estrogen makes them weaker compared to when they weren't taking it but even then they're too strong to compete with biological women.
If I even need to say this obviously there exist some women who are stronger then some men but on average men are way stronger.

Honestly, the world will keep turning either way. Especially with or without the "modifications". As you know, i'm here for a day but as much one like to support trans women, its very easy to forget evil can come in all forms. Trust as well until it's broken for everyone. Ironically amount of biological females who identify as males is practically zero in sports, while we had disgusting examples of males in female box sport. Since this abominable display I consider IOC (International Olympic Committee) as an enemy of the people. For rowing backs it's too late. Damage has been done and forgiveness is for the weak ones.
The trans community should have had the decency to refrain from participation in the first place. It is a ban that should not have been needed.
To think it's normal if you had LeBron James vs Caitlin Clark in a basketball game and assuming it's a fair matchup. Men tend to be stronger, taller, have more muscle and testosterone. If there was an actual Olympics that challenges performance goals it should allow age (like weight in boxing and other events) to be categorised so a wider range of top performers can get access to the limelight

Transgender people never wanted to compete with transgender people, and transgender women don't want to compete against men - this has always been about biological males who weren't competitive against men wanting to compete against women where they could dominate due to their biology.
They were never fighting for a place on the field, it was always about men invading women's sports so they could get accolades that they couldn't earn any other way.

I think you should compete according to the sexual reproductive system you have that functions. In the future, if there are enough trans athletes to even count, the Olympics can have a new category for them. Until then, that's my opinion on this over exaggerated issue.

I think this is a very good idea. It is terribly unfair to make women compete against men in athletic events, and no matter how you put it, a female transgender athlete is still biologically a man.
Just a recognition of the inherent biological differences. Simple example: I was not good enough to make the JV Boys Tennis Team, but was able to smoke the Varsity Girls CIF Champions solo even with them able to hit into the doubles court and me limited to the singles court. They couldn't return my serves and were barely able to return my volleys.
