I still read books on a regular basis (novels, encyclopedias, autobiography, self help books, etc) and use money.

When you're not wealthy enough to not care about how much things cost, cash is the only real way to appreciate your money, so that you can actually see it disappearing. That's why it's still my preferred payment, except for monthly household bills.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with continuing to use tried and true 'things'.
Some folks easily adopt new things - 'early adopters' - or they take a more wait-and-see approach.
It's all good.

This is why my spare bedroom is loaded with vinyl albums, photos, CD's and DVD's that I have since loaded onto a a travel drive smaller than my fist. New tech is great, but I'll keep my hard copies...

Try Windows 7. I stuck with XP until that came out. I skipped Windows 8 because of the idiotic tiling default - PC'S ARE NOT PHONES, MICROSOFT MICROCEPHELIACS. May go to 10 eventually.

They are to me. Of the above, I use only XP - for AdvanceMAME.

(To be clear, I still love XP. Still my favorite interface and all. But even 7 is getting old, security-wise.)

3: Seven is the best OS by Microsoft.
4: You can't buy a wireless headset for 3 euros.
6: Many place do not have a credit card reader in my country yet.
7: It's hard to find a charger in your zone in here.

Actual money isn't outdated. Credit card readers go down all the time. What are you going to do when that happens. Just not buy gas?
