I used to get bullied a lot in school. I used to ignore my bullies but nowadays I would fight back. I am not that much on social media media so I can't give you advise on that. I think it's easier to bully online cause you're more vulnerable and can't defend yourself.
To prevent people from bullying I think the worsed idea is to ignore them. I did that and I am accusing myself a lot today on why I haven't done something about it. Also it did make thinks make a lot worse since people just thought that they could do anything with me.
What made things better for me was that I stopped wearing odd clothes or behaving odd.
Applying that on the Internet. Don't share, post or like odd things and especially don't post odd pictures that they can bully about. If you give them nothing to pick on things hopefully will get better.
That's the "good" part about cyber bullying it's much easier to change your overall appearence since you don't have to change your habits !

Maybe if in a car, then road rage. Maybe disturbing the peace! Maybe people physically retaliated against so that they can be battered and assaulted! ... You don't read or watch the news do you. If you go to metro. uk, this online news site, there's PLENTY of real life horrible examples of people being bastards/bitches to one another and not having a care in the world! For both THEIR lives and the lives of others!

If it becomes harassment you can report them to the police, if you know who this particular person is and was harassing you even better.

If it's a complete stranger than just block them on social media accounts, often times you can set your account to private.

If none of the above solved your situation, then I suggest gathering edvience, such as screenshots, video, etc. The more evidence you have the better your case will be.

Or you could just be completely anonymous online not putting your name out anywhere, these are just some options you have available to you.
